03/7/2020 13:01 | DLAR are going to be cash rich They stated they want expand their authentication division These seem an obvious target Cash and share offer? added a few more | ntv
13/1/2020 18:07 | price still way below the ordinaries | ntv
15/11/2019 10:13 | Don't think they are big enough to bid for DLAR's authentication arm that is up for sale especially with a price tag of up to £200m on just £5.7m profit | ntv
26/9/2019 13:50 | Ah yes - yesterday's RNS on SPSY. | mctmct
26/9/2019 13:48 | BTW, where did you see the Slater purchase? | mctmct
26/9/2019 13:46 | Petewy 40p for SPSC but only 60 for the unrestricted SPSY. No-one would buy SPSC when it is above SPSC unless they didn't know they were essentially the same. | mctmct
26/9/2019 12:34 | A share spread of 40p is this normal? Slater just bought in. | petewy

10/7/2019 11:00 | NTV. Re changing to ordinaries. Firstly, I hold SPSC in my SIPP and SPSY in both SIPP and ISA - both are with AJ Bell. I can't see why you would need to convert in order to hold in an ISA. Secondly, this is the reply I got from SPECTRA's FD about converting to ordinaries: "Computershare has indicated that the restricted stock could be held in CREST and indicated that if they are held in CREST the broker should complete a stock withdrawal into a certificated position. I would suggest that once your broker confirms how the shares are held, you contact Computershare directly as they, as our Registrar, have the procedures to remove the restrictions and will need to process the paperwork. Their contact information is as follows: Computershare Investor Services (Jersey) Limited C/o Queensway House Hilgrove Street St Helier Jersey JE1 1ES United Kingdom" The FD is Brian E. Mclain and he has always replied promptly and professionally to emails. | mctmct
09/7/2019 16:39 | yes it should 15% tax in ISA more outside going to try and change these to ordinaries so I can move them easily to an ISA for next years dividend Some brokers platforms don't recognise this class of share not looking forward to trying to exchange for ordinaries | ntv
09/7/2019 06:17 | And in mine. Should it be taxed? | mctmct
09/7/2019 05:54 | At last my dividend is in my account, over a week late but I doubt it is the company's fault | ntv
26/6/2019 18:17 | nice dividend cheque tomorrow | ntv
28/1/2019 09:44 | Can’t be done by AJ Bell. They have to be certificated first! | mctmct
28/1/2019 09:08 | mctmct Have you converted your shares to the "ordinaries"? if so how long did the process take? TIA | ntv
02/1/2019 08:24 | picked up a few more this morning | ntv
20/12/2018 16:38 | I contacted Spectra through the contact form on their websiteto ask how the conversion occurred and got a response within minutes from Brian McLain, CPA, Chief Financial Officer, Spectra Systems Corporation saying this "Because we are a US based company, but traded on AIM, the shares are typically restricted for one year from the date of issue. The shareholder is required to complete certain paperwork and return the original stock certificate to Computershare, the Company’s Registrar. Computershare will then request approval from Spectra’s attorneys to remove the restriction and upon obtaining the approval, will re-issue a new certificate without a restriction." | mctmct
20/12/2018 15:00 | More SCSC have been converted to SPSY. | mctmct
10/12/2018 08:08 | that is a nice update to have in the current market | ntv
07/6/2018 16:07 | xd today , a handy 6 cents per share | ntv
01/6/2018 10:02 | hi mctmct i am not sure how it works and i really must get round to contacting the registrars to find out how to swap to the ordinaries has potential to be a cheap way in so not saying a lot you get the same dividend as the ordinaries and that is all i am bothered about at the moment | ntv
01/6/2018 08:25 | Spectra Systems Corporation, a leader in machine-readable high speed banknote authentication and brand protection technologies, announces that restrictive legends have been removed from a further 110,000 shares of common stock of the Company. As a result, these share have transferred from the Regulation S stock line ISIN number USU8457D1091 (AIM:SPSC) into the unrestricted line ISIN number US84756T1060 (AIM:SPSY). The Company's issued share capital now comprises: 546,710 shares in the Regulation S stock line ISIN number USU8457D1091 (AIM:SPSC); and 44,921,913 shares in the unrestricted line ISIN number US84756T1060 (AIM:SPSY). So a sixth of the SPSC shares have become SPSY, giving an immediate gain of over 50%. I wonder whose shares they were and whether any of them were mine! Presumably the rest will follow over a period. I wish I understood when, why and how. | mctmct |
