Posted at 26/9/2019 13:46 by mctmct Petewy40p for SPSC but only 60 for the unrestricted SPSY. No-one would buy SPSC when it is above SPSC unless they didn't know they were essentially the same. |

Posted at 10/7/2019 11:00 by mctmct NTV. Re changing to ordinaries.Firstly, I hold SPSC in my SIPP and SPSY in both SIPP and ISA - both are with AJ Bell. I can't see why you would need to convert in order to hold in an ISA. Secondly, this is the reply I got from SPECTRA's FD about converting to ordinaries: "Computershare has indicated that the restricted stock could be held in CREST and indicated that if they are held in CREST the broker should complete a stock withdrawal into a certificated position. I would suggest that once your broker confirms how the shares are held, you contact Computershare directly as they, as our Registrar, have the procedures to remove the restrictions and will need to process the paperwork. Their contact information is as follows: Computershare Investor Services (Jersey) Limited C/o Queensway House Hilgrove Street St Helier Jersey JE1 1ES United Kingdom" The FD is Brian E. Mclain and he has always replied promptly and professionally to emails. |
Posted at 09/7/2019 16:39 by ntv yes it should 15% tax in ISAmore outside going to try and change these to ordinaries so I can move them easily to an ISA for next years dividend Some brokers platforms don't recognise this class of share not looking forward to trying to exchange for ordinaries |

Posted at 01/6/2018 10:02 by ntv hi mctmcti am not sure how it works and i really must get round to contacting the registrars to find out how to swap to the ordinaries has potential to be a cheap way in so not saying a lot you get the same dividend as the ordinaries and that is all i am bothered about at the moment |
Posted at 01/6/2018 08:25 by mctmct Spectra Systems Corporation, a leader in machine-readable high speed banknote authentication and brand protection technologies, announces that restrictive legends have been removed from a further 110,000 shares of common stock of the Company.As a result, these share have transferred from the Regulation S stock line ISIN number USU8457D1091 (AIM:SPSC) into the unrestricted line ISIN number US84756T1060 (AIM:SPSY). The Company's issued share capital now comprises: 546,710 shares in the Regulation S stock line ISIN number USU8457D1091 (AIM:SPSC); and 44,921,913 shares in the unrestricted line ISIN number US84756T1060 (AIM:SPSY). So a sixth of the SPSC shares have become SPSY, giving an immediate gain of over 50%. I wonder whose shares they were and whether any of them were mine! Presumably the rest will follow over a period. I wish I understood when, why and how. |
