this class of share of share is entitled to the same dividend of spectra systems but the market still values it below for some reason
so i just picked up another 4k

looking to buy the dips if there ever are any now profits are looking strong for the next few years
coupled with a decent dividend. it should be a very safe investment

these shares are mostly issued as a class of share to cover share options (please see RNS issues in April/May this year) as i understand, so my guess is, there are very few sellers about as it appears that employees want to keep their shares for some reason!!

As far as i can see there are only 594,838 shares in the Regulation S stock line ISIN number USU8457D1091 (AIM:SPSC) in issue

very few companies would be able to buy the company in such a niche market so probably only De La rue herebut maybe another US firm
be nice if they had won a contract say for the Bank of China!

PE ratio is currently forecast as about at current price so could easily climb a lot more before the year end

To get the share price really moving it needs to be tipped somewhere but i think brokers are keeping a lid on things playing down 2017 and 2018 forecasts. get rid of this big seller/s and this will really fly. I really don't believe any PI would sell out just yet things are only just beginning to come together

Trading Update

This announcement contains inside information for the purposes of Article 7 of Regulation 596/2014.

Spectra Systems Corporation, a leader in machine-readable high speed banknote authentication and brand protection technologies, today announces that it has been informed by its covert authentication technology licensee, that royalties based on finished printed notes will reach a record level in 2017. As a result, Spectra expects that its profits for the year ending 31 December 2017 will significantly exceed market expectations.

Dr. Nabil Lawandy, Chief Executive Officer, stated: "We are delighted to have received news from our licensee for covert materials supplied to 18 central banks that the royalty component of the agreement will as a result reach a record annual high in 2017. Typically the final royalty, determined by the number of printed notes containing our materials, is not available until year end. This year, we have visibility that it is already significantly above expectations for the full year. Based on our licensee's projections for material purchases, we expect the royalties to be somewhat higher than average next year although not necessarily at these record levels."

It seems odd that the SPSY RNS doesn't include (or be issued as well for) SPSC. I would have thought that was a breach of listing rules.

Yes, and the SPSC price was ahead of SPSY briefly. Maybe it's just confusion.

you can convert but i think you have to contact the company to do so
hardly any in issue, about half a million from memory
