Just bought here at £1.16. Looks like a well run business with a clear idea of the future. I'm happy to hold for the longer term and see where they can go.

Good point. One of the things I like most about Spaceandpeople is that the Directors seem grounded, and pay themselves reasonable salaries, yet share in the upside through their significant personal shareholdings. This is exactly how it should be - investor and senior management interests completely aligned.

Top-slicing her shareholding by 6.5% (100k shares divided by 1,533k) is not something that alarms me at all.

Looking at the Annual Report for the year ending 31/12/2013 she recd a total pay package of just £128k.

Thats very modest.

I dont know her personal circumstances but if all her wealth is tied up in the company's shares I don't blame her selling a modest amount.

She has only sold just below 7% of her total holding...

Mrs Cullen now holds 1,433,000 Ordinary Shares representing 7.4 per cent of the Company's total issued share capital.

I do not think she will be selling any more and clearly there has been a happy buyer at a much higher level than the recent secondary placing so I do not think this will be an issue. The company is still on track and she would not be allowed to sell if there was anything amiss as she is a director and deemed to be inside if key information were known at this point.

Catching up with the interims of RDI who have quite a large UK retail portfolio I see that they took on Asset Space- introduce bespoke mall kiosks, media and promotions in their properties-ie this company is a competitor to SAL but seems to have a wider product offering..

Thankfully he is not from the Fylde Coast. He is from the other side of Preston although he did buy a restaurant in my home town. The restaurant went bust !

Fabulous news that Hargreave Hale have picked up some of the overhang - I always get a warm glow when I see them on a shareholder register, as they're amongst the shrewdest stock pickers out there.

Just confirms my view that overhangs create buying opportunities at decent companies!
