Giles Clarke, Chairman designate said:

"I am pleased to be joining the Board alongside Rupert Fraser. We have invested in the business to provide it with additional funding. We plan to conduct a strategic review of the Company's assets and activities with a view to enhancing shareholder value and will outline our vision and strategy for the business in the weeks ahead. Our plans for the business may involve the pursuit of an acquisition which would trigger a reverse takeover under the AIM Rules."

Must be a few good target opportunities out there at the moment ?

It is clear that the price of Gold reflects the value of the US Dollar.
In the last 4 years as the US dollar index has risen the price of Gold as declined.
When the US dollar falls the price of gold rises.
Makes common sense really,
And if you look at our own chart you will see the same thing.
Now lots of other factors also effect the share price of different companies;
So, on top of the Ebola crisis now said to be over in Guinea, if this year the value of the US dollar also starts to fall, then 2016 should be a good year for the share price of SMA. IMHO

SMA looks good investment to me:-
(1) News last night stated Ebola crisis over in Guinea.
(2) Company just raised plenty of cash with executives contributing;
(3) New Prime minister of Guinea intends to encourage more investments in country and he is executive head of a mining in the country.
And today share price rose on all the good news and hopefully will keep on rising to Pre Ebola crises days and Pre civil unrest days has the Prime minister states he now intends to increase employment and investments in country.
