22/8/2016 15:47 | No, but i am intrigued by the surrounding area, if you look its an area of traditional gold mining, thousands of small artisan mines where individual guys either team up or go it alone to dig a pit and wash and pan for gold. It may be that SMA are thinking of partnering some of the larger operations and getting a decent operation going. I suspect they are looking carefully at the leases near to them....just a take but we should hear something before long as Mr Sparrow is no doubt working away at getting the finances sorted because then he gets his cut. One thing i have noticed is that the share price moves very quickly indeed for both buys and sells, great news for us when we do get an RNS. | squiresquire
22/8/2016 08:47 | Hi squiresquire anything happening? Are you hearing anything. | soulsauce
03/8/2016 10:30 | That was interesting, the MMs really dont want to let these get out in any volume without it affecting the price. | squiresquire
25/7/2016 07:30 | Nice 1m buy to start the week. May be the new NED is picking up some in the market to go with his warrants ;-) | soulsauce
23/7/2016 08:31 | Another decent week, can only continue with this chap on the board just taking warrants as payment:- Mr. Jeremy Sparrow was a Managing Director at Investec and ran the Asian (including Australian) resource investment banking businesses. A highly distinguished investment and financing professional, Mr. Sparrow possesses over 25 years of extensive deal-making experience across multiple geographies and has led equity teams that have raised a combined total of over $23bn. He was responsible for setting up an integrated sales research and IB/ECM platform and oversaw the raising of over US$1.5bn in just six months of operation. Prior to Investec, Mr. Sparrow spent 12 years with Renaissance Capital, as a Managing Director heading up Equity Products in New York and the UK. Prior to Investec, Mr. Sparrow was Chief Executive Officer at Renaissance Capital Asia, building and running a full trading, advisory and capital markets platform connecting EMEA to Asia, principally China. Before moving to Asia, Mr. Sparrow was a Managing Director for Renaissance Capital since 2001. While at the firm, Mr. Sparrow also served as the Asia Chief Executive Officer, Head of Equities, and Head of International Sales. He also served as a Partner at Renaissance Capital Limited and Chief Executive of Hong Kong Office at Renaissance Capital Holdings Limited. Mr. Sparrow has also served as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where he was Head of EMEA distribution for the USA, and started his career at American Express Bank. He has been Non-Executive Director of Sovereign Mines Of Africa PLC since July 18, 2016. He was an Advisory Board Member at LJ Partnership. He was a Senior Advisor at the LJ Partnership. 22/7/2016 12:41 | Chart looking very positive now news sinking in. | soulsauce
22/7/2016 11:38 | Thanks squiresquire very positive indeed. I am sure we will creep up to a penny prior to the news hitting. | soulsauce
22/7/2016 11:34 | ss The assets are a total joy. They are buried as shallow as gold can be buried, ie incredibly low extraction cost, historically this area of SMAs is known as a gold producing area and locals have mined it for generations. Wherever you go round the world, South Africa, South America even Ireland gold was known in areas long before the big companies moved in. Mandiana is extremely rich, and highly accessible. Clarke and Fraser are going to mint it here. So is Jeremy with his 20 million warrants, tied as they are to his actual production. | squiresquire
22/7/2016 11:27 | Yes looks that way squiresuire. I didn't know much about the assets and bought in purely on the very accomplished mgt to turn things around, but the assets do look decent too. | soulsauce
22/7/2016 11:16 | Looks like the penny is starting to drop that Clarke is on to something here. Mandiana, its very very big indeed. | squiresquire
22/7/2016 08:58 | Much obliged for that squiresquire, interesting times. Guys like Jeremy, the latest NED, don't give up their time for peanut Warrants without some big potential down the line. | soulsauce
22/7/2016 08:53 | Dont forget 4.4 6.6 and 8.8p were all levels this company held in terms of share price ....even with a pretty useless management.!!! | squiresquire
22/7/2016 08:50 | If you look back just 7 months ago you can see the share price at about the 1.5-1.7 levels. Then they were simply in discussions about financing the Mandiana, nothing else. They have a lot more to offer than Mandiana and i personally feel Clarke has seen potential in something hitherto unnoticed. If you look at the way he went into IRON, inititally to mine just Iron Ore, but once he had it all financed he then said they had High Purity Iron ( far more valuable ) and also Vanadium and Titaniuum to boot. They are now starting up the smelting etc which takes time but basically he sees far more than the average person hence his ability to make the millions he does. From the time talks were previously announced for SMA the share price was over our current level, and up to 1.7.....if we get the reverse takeover then the share price in my opinion will be over 3p. Clarke, Fraser and our new guy on the package he is on, are clearly a team far far above the previous management SMA had. These guys are after a really good share price, and as i say i expect it to start from 3p as soon as they complete the RTO. Then the fireworks will really start when they tell us what it is they have up their sleeve. | squiresquire
22/7/2016 08:22 | squiresquire what do you feel is possible share price wise? I don't think Jeremy would take 22m shares unless he thought that he was going to at least get 1p+ for them? In the scheme of things 200k for a man of his calibre would seem much more the going rate? | soulsauce
22/7/2016 08:18 | Dont forget they are smack in the middle of a historically known gold area with a lot of artisnal mining over the decades. This area is definitely gold rich, gold prices are climbing and i dont know what Clarke is up to but for sure he has spotted something of value here all right. Time will tell and it isnt going to be much linger before the cat is out of the bag. | squiresquire
22/7/2016 07:35 | 2magpies that is the conclusion I came to. | soulsauce
22/7/2016 07:33 | I noticed that bit about an rt. One imagines that they must have discussed potentials, targets and feasability before making that a specific contigency for his reward (and him accepting it)! That, I think, makes it an incentive to make the deal as big as possible. | 2magpies
22/7/2016 07:21 | Very interesting that our new very qualified NED is not taking any payment from the company and has instead taken 22m warrants which currently equates to circa 65 grand. Not sure why a man of his calibre would give up his time for 65grand? And 11m of these warrants are for carrying out a reverse takeover? Hmmm so I think he must be expecting a significant uplift in the share price to make it worthwhile for him. Anyone else think so? | soulsauce
18/7/2016 15:56 | Chartwise it can get into a gallop after the 1.2p mark i think, .5 is a barrier but i agree with you they will have it over a penny or thereabouts before news, hopefully within two weeks. | squiresquire
18/7/2016 15:19 | Nice late rally, this will be 1p+ when news hits. The calibre of mgt for such a small aim company is second to none. They will have a huge array of contacts and I am sure they will find a good prospect(s) with the funding to back it up. ;-) | soulsauce
18/7/2016 10:40 | Totally agree squire will be very interesting to what their plans are. | soulsauce
18/7/2016 09:11 | A market cap of a couple of million is laughable for a company with these guys aboard, they are not going to want to pay out salaries for nothing so i expect more informative announcements very soon. | squiresquire
18/7/2016 07:57 | Nice move today just the start imo. | soulsauce
18/7/2016 06:52 | The guy knows his stuff by the looks of it. | recordz
18/7/2016 06:41 | this is one heck of a team gathering, i wonder what on earth they are up to, they are on again about this acquisition so they seem to be very serious about it, but why such a big name they could have got far cheaper a person | squiresquire |
