That is a pretty serious allegation to make, that the BOD of Sound have deliberately held up progress on the TE10 prospect for personal gain at the expense of shareholders.

Would this count as slander?

I have forwarded your post to Sound.

Lets do some math. Let's say you were 'earning':

One. Million. Pounds. A year, in salary.

That's £83k a month. Now lets say you drill a hole, might be the final one you do, and honestly, mathematically, odds are, it's not going to go great.

If you were to, lets say, "forget" to place the PO for coiled tubing, that might, through delay, net you another 4 payslips:

4 X £83k = £332k, just waiting for coiled tubing.

Three hundred, and thirty two thousand pounds of that sweet, sweet PI cash straight into your pocket. Oh and in the interim you can book a London pub and have a few beers expensed on the company. Absolutely mental imo.

So presumably, if the company had got their timings correct and had stated the equipment will arrive at the end of April and testing will begin in May, the share price would not have fallen 27%.

David Clarkson
Chairman of the Remuneration Committee
Principles For Executive Remuneration

− Attract and retain high-calibre Executives in a competitive international market, and remunerate Executives fairly and responsibly
'kay

− Motivate delivery of our key business strategies and encourage a strong performance-oriented culture
Um, #tripledust ..that performance?

− Reward achievement over the short and long term
What positive achievement was there in the fiscal year to justify 100% wage inflation?!

− Support both near-term and long-term success and sustainable shareholder value
OK we're at 18p though from 102p and you've doubled salaries?!

- Align the business strategy and achievement of planned business objectives
GSA?

− Be compatible with the Company’s risk policies and systems
I dread to consider SOU risk policy.

− Ensure that a significant proportion of remuneration is performance-related
Well now you're taking the mikemichael2. Performance based?! PAH!

− Take into consideration the views of shareholders and best practice guidelines
SALT IN THE WOUNDS YO' SALT IN THE DAMN WOUNDS!!!

SOU taking care of the little guy as he nurses potentially +80% losses by doubling salaries, amirite guys? Not to mention the 'trading plan'!

Not forgetting that gas prices in Morocco is one of the highest around the Med., & indeed around the world.

SDX's efforts in Egypt look like a Cinderella at a fraction of SOU's price...

C & P off the walrus's site, 07/03/19:

"Sound has announced that ‘positive ‘ discussions are continuing with the appropriate authorities in Morocco with regard to the Gas Sales Agreement for Tendrara. It also confirms that the GSA covers all of the gas to be produced from the Tendrara concession.

This is good news as shareholders are aware of its importance to the company and management are keeping them informed. It is also important to Morocco itself as the gas produced will be a key domestic supply and crucially will reduce dependency on Algerian gas, not to be forgotten."

& 25/03/19:

"Sound has updated today from the TE-7 well in Tendrara where pressure readings have increased following the latest retrieval of the pressure gauge data. The measured pressure data provides further information on the extent and quality of the reservoir at TE-7 and provides confidence in the TE-5 Horst discovery ahead of the FID. The company’s estimate of connected GOIP around TE-7 is now a volume exceeding 115 Bscf (in July 2017 the number had exceeded 40 Bscf) and must be highly encouraging."

Flow test results on TE10 should be with us in a week or two.
Schlumberger's presence is reassuring in that they cut short any time wasting when things aren't working out as hoped, so the wait is a good sign IMO.

The share price is as dull as dish water until then, but it is said SOU is worth a proven 25p for TE5 alone, & up to 110p with a successful TE10. Then comes TE11.

Furthermore, Schlum have signed up a further deal for more explo & infrastructure at Tendara, & even if J Parsons got over excited, that says a lot for me.

A long & turbulent wait, but Schlum think it's worth it, in which case so do I.

We are, after all, talking of an explo company becoming a producer, which is a sweet spot to be in.....
