One position filled today according to Drapers - the leading authority on fashion retailing in the UK since 6 August 1887 - is as follows:

"Sosandar names first creative director.

Womenswear brand Sosandar has appointed former Karen Millen and Coast head of brand Emily Frazer to the role of creative director."

Perhaps up to now the joint-CEOs have covered this so it should be a positive to see a creative manager of proven quality helping set the future direction of SOS.

No chance, miles to go yet before any real rise. Open a shop or two see if it's successful after a couple of years. Might get over 20p in three years time. If shops go well.

I think that investors are slowly agreeing with Sosandar's strategy to open shops.
I for one, totally agree and am increasing my stake slowly.

The right shops in the right places will always be a winner.
Especially for womens clothes at the higher end of the market.
Most older women are extremely body conscious and prefer to try clothes on before purchasing - and it can be a frustrating process buying on line to then arrange couriers to return if the fit is not right.

They don't have to be on every high street - just in the busier malls and vibrant centres.

A reasonable strategy that needs to be given opportunity IMHO

Interesting article in today’s shares mag. People are going back to shops for the experience and to touch the goods and try sizes. Online purchases can also be returned to the shop, bringing more repeat buyers through the door.

The NXT TU mentions Q3 full price sales grew 6.5% on-line BUT dropped 0.6% in store.
