Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a bid at some point. I prefer Sos to keep growing in their space first. And that shareholders knock it back.

The article you didn't know you wanted today: The best women's gilets for your wardrobe this season.

Trying to be as objective as possible, I think Sosandar is in the Top 2 of the 12 here and, as expected, the photography is the best.

If any of the big companies wanted to buy SOS they would have to pay a huge premium to persuade the major shareholders to sell

Do you mean that one of them will try to take SOS over?

I will start adding again.
The next 6 months will be full of news imo.

At some point sos will be too attractive and that’s when Next, Frasiers or M&S will want it.

Before then, I think it will hit a pound.

There were just 3 trades yesterday. Two amounted to 36,000 buys and one was for 4,272 sells.

The next news should be around Friday, September 15th when the Annual Shareholders Meeting is due.

No Sos shares traded today.
I hope they produce some good news soon to prevent the share price drifting.

Took this from last week's presentation. Sums it up well imo...

Sector domination, I suppose, someuwin.

Needs PIs to start buying again, I guess.

This is surely the optimum time to be buying in here. Revenues growing strongly and company moving decisevely into profit. The trend must surely be upwards all the way from here on.

I have confidence that the management will manage it well, bg23.
Perhaps added to your slow start roll out will be local partnerships. Perhaps that's is your local retailers comment. Not sure how it would work.
A large company partnership could boost awareness significantly, but I don't suppose they would use Global-E.
Based on my current confusion I think that Global-E is for people noticing SOS direct and will be small, and that partnerships are a different game.

So Global-E function is established, tick.

I'd imagine a well placed marketing campaign of adverts and online regional targeting would allow a controlled entry to target markets.

Going back a quarter, there was much comment by management of the high levels of interest shown in the middle east, both by attendees at a trade show but also local retailers.

I'm no expert, but I would think a soft launch in a high income area such as the middle east would be more effective than trying to target the disparate European market and could be done easily using the companies online presence and experience.

It will be interesting to see how this develops.

A couple of interesting points from Scott. He's tried out the Global-E function which works well, but he asks how customers in foreign lands will learn about the company.
He also found Sosandar on the Argos website, not the Sainsbury website.

I checked and it is on both Argos and SainsburyTU.

Cheers apad. I agree with you about Sosandar's investor communication and their apparent openness and transparency compared to boards of other stocks I own. I'm still very positive about SOS's direction - it's my #2 holding (after IQGeo Group) and I'm in for the long term.

Inventories up nearly 80%. Last year orders up 22%.
Complicated by the logistics problems and new outlets, which are well described in the FY. Capital raise specific to increase inventories. Still a big number.
Management have been good at managing inventories in the past.
This supports the notion of management confidence in large revenue increases.

W13Ken Scott comments on his weeks opinions here, for free:

Due the current version sometime today but his punctuality is unreliable.
Always an entertaining listen.
I'm not sure there is anything new to know about SOS. Their investor communication is exemplary.

Paul will comment today he said.

Long term buy and hold for me. Patience will win the day.

Great management. The great leap forward will be international sales.

The market has read the FY results and decided it isn't impressed. We are witnessing its initial response.
Things might calm down once day traders have satisfied their urge to sell. The share price might bounce along at a low level for a while before moving upwards. That might not be until Friday, September 15th when we have the annual shareholders meeting.

I find it interesting that Paul Scott hasn't commented about the results. He was full of enthusiasm about SOS until now.

Success might come slower than I thought but I'm sure it will come, even if it takes another year or so.
