trinko, I'm short of capital to play with, so if I need funds for another trade, I have to make a decision which one gets the chop!

Most recently it was SPE to provide the cash to increase my holding in KAZ.

montyhedge - front running is a term from the pit trading days when you had youngsters running the in coming paper order tickets from the booths around the edge of the pit to the traders on the pit floor. If they had received or caught wind of a huge whale order coming in they would try run their small tickets into the pit in front of the whale order cos they knew it would push up the mkt.

CR definitely used to front run his recovery picks ie load up before telling his followers - and was pretty up front about it! All part of crowd trading I guess and ethical only if you declare.

Exiting is less virtuous in general - they either blatantly ramp into what they already know is a topping out mkt (because they are old hands who have seen it many times before) or a topping out asset that has reached this yrs & nxt yrs valuation early. The other strategy is quietly slip away - then declare only when out. So an element of candour or liars poker on the exit.

For the main though, if they are stage analysis investors/traders ie get in nr the btm of a new life cycle and try ride it all the way up, most of the ramping/tipping is because they are in, and they are in because they genuinely believe it hasn't reached end of growth cycle yet. So unless they are ramping just as the mkt and or asset is obv rolling over on real fundamental news - its prob genuine.

SPEs T/U was hot - so I don't think its end of cycle.

My opinion! They tipped them now because forward looking is looking great!
There will be dips but for the short therm! Almost no free-float.
And for the full year net profit about 35 pence or more.
So a fast growing company a P/E ratio off 20 is reasonable.
So in my thoughts and opinion a stock price after the full year earnings release of 700p is more than reasonable.

Don't trade on this, this is only my opinion and i act on it. So i think not many share will come to market before the release.

We will see.
But everybody good luck

Not sure which tips you're talking about Monty. The naked trader bought in at 330 and then announced it. He recently announced he topped up which was at 389.

It may have moved up somewhat on the back of this but not a lot. I think we are still undervalued and still got a bit of room to move up yet.

I don't think this has anything to do with the tip now.

I wonder if these tipsters front run, in other words buy, a few weeks ago, let it go up slowly then sell when tipped. Any thoughts?

Yes, Robbie sure does move markets. Alumasc down 3% day before yesterday was probably him selling, up 2.6% yesterday on SHARES tip, down again today as he reveals he sells! I should've sold on results, but am holding on because I'm a dividend idiot. However, SPE's a good mid-term hold.

Are you calling me a tipster or Robbie Burns? lol

Neither of us are tipsters. The naked trader is one of the best stock pickers out there.
