06/12/2016 15:06 | My big winner I spotted as they know on the Micro Focus thread 340p to 2200p and in the FTSE 100. I must admit this is hopefully my next big winner. 500p to me is a given, I'm looking for 1000p next couple of years is my view. This is my share for 2017. | montyhedge
30/11/2016 19:41 | Looking back at today's transactions 315p seemed to be the sell price towards the end of trading, but 320p was bid earlier. I must admit that I haven't held continuously since March, but have been buying back my position since late October. | interceptor2
30/11/2016 14:23 | Very nice. Out of.curiosity what do they quote you to sell now? | pratt2

30/11/2016 09:37 | Strong buying pushing share price higher this morning. I can't think of many cons Pratt2, maybe apart from a planned increase in headcount during H2 which will have a small cost implication, but increasing headcount is in itself a positive and feel that the pros will certainly outweigh any additional costs. The main pro is the recent strong trading and the upbeat nature of all of their statements this year, the August interims were simply stunning imo. And then we have the revenue mix 71% from USA and 29% from Europe, with sterling weak there will be a direct benefit in conversion from reported $us to £uk on accounts. Have also noticed that stocks I hold that have strong divisions in the US seem to be doing rather well. As mention before I made an effort to work out full year earnings, and am happy to stick my head above the parapet and pencil in EPS between 35p to 40p. | interceptor2
24/11/2016 08:39 | Hi everyone. SPE has popped up in my radar recently and I am currently doing my due diligence on this. I am struggling to find more info about the major shareholder Rivomore Ltd. I am sure some of you long term holders would know this inside out already. :) Can anybody shed some more light please? Also any pros and cons of the company itself from you seasoned investors will be appreciated too. Many thanks. Pratt | pratt2
21/11/2016 18:11 | I hope this is my next Micro Focus went from 340p to 2200p. This will go from 295p to 1000p coming years, really like this share as a tuckaway. | montyhedge

17/11/2016 16:19 | Yep. Sopheon has largely reinvented itself. Recognised now as a leader in innovation and enterprise management. It'll be huge. Only 7 million shares in circulation, a tiny valuation and ahead of the curve. Hopefully long termers will be well rewarded before it gets taken out by a big fish. | chadders
17/11/2016 12:04 | Five of AIM's post-Brexit stars revealed By Andrew Hore | Fri, 30th September 2016 - 14:15 Long tail of companies Many, though, have been around a lot longer. Software company Sopheon (SPE) joined AIM in 1996 and the share price is nowhere near the heights of the tech boom or even its level ten years ago, but it is more than eight times the level it was at the beginning of 2015. One thing that this list does show is that companies that may have been written off as failures in the past because of their poor performance can redeem themselves. That may come from perseverance, like Futura, or by finding different assets, like SolGold and Sound Energy. The long tail of very small companies on AIM is often criticised but some of these companies do get a second wind and find a way of recovering a substantial part, or all, of their previous share price decline.
