29/3/2017 16:35 | cfro, Just thought I'd flag it up. I know you run a zulu approach and keep an eye on having a 'margin of safety'. Cheers EE | eagle eye
29/3/2017 15:33 | Who put a 31c (?) price target on 2017, and why? Could you expand? With 14.5m revenue visible (which suggests growth has not slowed yet) I don't see how you can run the sums (with the gearing) and not get a decent diluted eps for 2017. Sopheon should be approaching $15m cash in the bank. Dilute everything due for 2019 and you've still only a 50m market cap. Barry Mence&co won't want that as a dividend or to sell the co.? This is basically a privately held company, or at least 60% of it is. But of course there will be profit taking, and substantial volatility, like in November when people were selling for 240p when every indication was revenue was up and so you'd get a substantially ahead update in a couple months... | samsj
29/3/2017 15:23 | eagle eye, Thankyou for your kind advice but i have my own forecasts in mind as i fully expect broker forecasts to be beat, once again, this year. For the time being i value this fast growing company on an historic adjusted earnings basis and with current PE way below ten, personally, i think this is out of line by some margin. | cfro

29/3/2017 14:44 | cfro, I suggest you check out the revised broker forecast for FY17. On that basis, I don't think SPE is now particulary cheap. Best wishes Eagle Eye | eagle eye
29/3/2017 14:32 | And since when were market makers in the business of anticipating what shares magazines are going to tip? They just respond to demand and make money on the spread. There is no need for them to take positions and it makes no business sense for them to do so. | orange1
29/3/2017 13:06 | When were IC and SCSW big supporters of SPE? I can't find a single mention in either archive. I think Sopheon will be sold before long. but many selling shares on news and realising that, w dilution and adding back tax, there might not be loads of immediate upside here. I hope they are wrong. | samsj
29/3/2017 10:30 | Historic PE is way below ten here. The market is simply not valuing this company in any fair way at all imo. | cfro
29/3/2017 10:00 | Bahi what is IC and SCSW?? Thanks trinko | trinko
29/3/2017 09:45 | Looks like a couple of things happening today. First there was some small selling, probably due to profit taking from a nominee account to have cash ready for new ISA allowance on April 4th. Also noticed mm's taking the opportunity around this to sneakily lower the share price when there was no selling action to try and trigger stop losses. No doubt they want to load up with cheap shares ahead of any publications such as IC or SCSW, which will come out later this week and undoubtedly champion Sopheon. So I also took up the offer for some cheap shares. | bahiflyer
29/3/2017 09:38 | I have decided defensively to take profits this morning, and now only have a small holding. I expect to be back at some point soon | pj 1

24/3/2017 19:05 | Hi LM, that makes sense. I will try that approach on some charts I have in mind, and see if I can get a similar correlation. There are a few ideas I could share, based on patterns, which have worked for me. I don't want to do too much o/t on the spe thread, where should I reply? Do we need another thread for this kind of thing? | bamboo2
24/3/2017 18:16 | Hi Bamboo - continued over on my thread (IT) Cheers LM | luckymouse
24/3/2017 16:18 | Just require a break of 500p for a new breakout - hopefully on good volume | essential
24/3/2017 13:53 | Hi LM, I am unfamiliar with the term bootstrapping fibs, can you say a little more about this method of extending fibs? Is it a quick way of sidestepping the calcs normally used to measure extentions? | bamboo2
