29/5/2016 21:17 | Came across these for the first time recently. I've been going through the numbers to try to come to a view for FY16; the challenge with doing this is that the half yearly split of FY15 is crazily skewed to the second half give H1 2015 was quiet. Its also complicated by the declining performance up to then: Revenues by half: H1 FY13: $10.2m H2 FY13: $10.7m H1 FY14: $9.2m H2 FY14: $9.1m H1 FY15: $8.4m H2 FY15: $12.5m Most relevant part of the recent narrative is this: "After a relatively slow start in the first half of 2015, the second half of the year recorded substantial increase in volume, sales and revenue. Over the years we have frequently referred to the sensitivity of our license results to individual sales events. Historically, the second and fourth quarters tend to be strong and the final quarter of 2015 was a particularly marked example, being the strongest revenue quarter in our history. This was less true of the second quarter performance. As we announced towards the end of 2014, a number of large transactions that we had originally expected to close that year were deferred to 2015." So if feels like H2 15 was slightly unrepresentative and perhaps a £11m is a more appropriate run-rate? And perhaps £23m for the year? This is vaguely consistent with their revenue visibility being £1.8m higher earlier this year compared to last year, when they made £20.9m for the year. Any views on the above? Given the variance in turnover recently, I'm thinking of holding fire on buying a few until the interims Adam | adamb1978

05/5/2016 15:14 | RNS out, holdings increased by 100k, looks like options? Anyone? | battlebus2
04/5/2016 08:12 | Yes it's been very quiet, still well off the radar this one. The next update should be with the AGM and given the outlook for 2016 it's going to be good imv. | battlebus2
04/5/2016 07:50 | Good to see some news this morning. It's been very quiet since the last update. Hopefully this will be back in investors spotlight today. | cfro
04/5/2016 07:28 | New version of Accolade released. | battlebus2
19/4/2016 18:31 | Yes, it's an illiquid share and swings on little volume. Saying that quite good volume today so maybe a tip or mentioned by someone. | battlebus2
19/4/2016 16:17 | You're right when you said 'when this moves, it moves quick', battlebus! | cfro
19/4/2016 13:28 | Another 5k bought and a tick up. | battlebus2
15/4/2016 12:01 | Totally agreeIC2, these are very cheap and will relate once the market sees the growth is a trend and not just a one off. | battlebus2
15/4/2016 11:39 | Worth posting the valuation ratio after the recent results and new broker estimates. At 88p, PE = 8.23, 2016 PER = 6.91, 2017 PER = 4.18, PEG = 0.19 and 0.06 EV/EBITDA = x 2.08 These ratios show how cheaply valued SPE are, not many stocks on these sort values in these markets. Sometime these cheap stocks can be a value trap and at best tie up your capital, but with such positive recent results statement behind them, it feels that finally we can look forward to continued growth and success. The turnaround in each of the last 6 months results period is impressive, management admitted that in 2014 they hadn't appreciated the longer sales cycle of new enterprise business, seems like they are in control now imo. I guess the only downside is that the share are rather illiquid, all this means for me is that I haven't my full normal position yet, which allows me to have a wider stop in place. But still intend to add as the share price advances. Could enjoy a double whammy here, continued earnings surprises which in turn should lead to a rerating to more normal valuations. | interceptor2
05/4/2016 14:52 | No directors dealings announced so far and a few sales.... | battlebus2
04/4/2016 13:34 | Good to see the squeeze is on today as the sellers dry up. The large transactions earlier might be directors. lets hope so. I own up to adding a small amount more myself today. If fact my tiny 1k buy was the first trade of the day i believe. I had an inkling the share price was readying for a move up. :-) | cfro
04/4/2016 13:27 | Already is for me ;)) | battlebus2
04/4/2016 13:19 | Cheers bb2, hope this will be another WAND | modform
04/4/2016 12:14 | Management commented on the pipeline of projects so perhaps news is due. | chadders
04/4/2016 11:59 | Good to see you here modform.... | battlebus2
04/4/2016 11:50 | I got a few trades on Friday and today at 87.5, nice to see some knowledgeable investors on board here | modform
04/4/2016 11:43 | Yes that's a sizeable trade for SPE, could be another director buy or will the real owner please stand up :)) | battlebus2
04/4/2016 11:39 | Might be director buys when you look at the list in post 42, fairly modest amounts. Unless an agreed transaction could be arranged between two parties, it would be difficult to buy large amounts without pushing up the price here. With a fairly wide spread, SPE are one to buy a more modest amount with a wider stop and add more as the story unfolds imo. Edit, as I was typing 21.5k @ 92.95p went through :o) | interceptor2
04/4/2016 11:22 | Next move could be on, some buying this morning, 11k bought at just above mid, directors?? | battlebus2 |
