johnthspacer - diluted eps because basic eps was is distorted by the impact of the convertible loan stock for the prior year.

Excellent results with good growth in profit and cashflow and with investment in staff for the future development of the company.

From the RNS
2018 2017
Earnings per share - basic 68.60c 71.92c
Earnings per share - diluted 64.98c 55.92c

Which of these 2 EPS figures should we be looking at? 1 shows a decline and the other is an increase?

Very positive results as expected. How does visibility of $20m for the coming year compare with the position last year?

Revenue and PBT look good, ahead of what their conservative trading update suggested (that was "over 33" and FinnCap suggesting 6 on the latest update).
Revenue visibility is OK also.

Hi,I don't pretend to understand the MM psychology re: spreads. Generally I guess they are looking to create volatility and gently accumulate stock before initiating the moves? In this case they will be aware of timing of Thursday's results so there is likely Buy run up to Weds?To an LTH like me who patiently awaits his moment it's not a major problem. It definitely steers the retail traders away!Cheers, tightfist

Why is the spread so wide on this one? Seems fairly highly traded.MMs might get more trades with smaller spread!

I agree with you - but posting it for all to see and open yourself up to comment is another matter altogether...

Agreed, but a Support line around 1000p is pretty easy to observe and remember!!

tt, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. I get downvotes and sideways comments about my charts and charting posts all the time. Some people just don't get them.

Slightly ironic given that advfn literally contains a sea of charts!

On the last market price based chart I can see the kind of pattern you are discussing, but think price could need an eod close below approx 1000 [historical support] to confirm as valid. Every time price gets anywhere near this level [intraday] there is a load of buying.

As to value here:

- High & rising Operating Margins / ROCE
- Strongly cash generative
- Net cash of £13m
- Ex-cash rolling PE around 20
- Excellent track record & confident outlook

One for the long term & a strong buy below £10 for me.
