26/11/2023 12:40 | New strategies always cost money! But I would that any raise is at much higher prices as we didn't take 11p from tenez so why fund raise below... | winnet
26/11/2023 11:50 | On top they are goin to agree upfront offtake with chinese company, larger payment than previous. | neo26
26/11/2023 09:31 | Management now have skin in the game with options .They have not been able to invest before as throughout they have had ‘commercially sensitive information’.W | littlened
26/11/2023 08:50 | Anyone concerned about a potential fundraising here. Been shafted before and with mgt having no skin in the game, it's a concern. | winnet
25/11/2023 18:47 | I dont think so, with Gould been appointed ceo one would assume the deal is almost complete.I think next week is a good chance the deal will be announced. | neo26
24/11/2023 17:39 | Surely just a bit of out of one pocket into another. Between spouses or swapping to trusts perhaps | dekle
24/11/2023 17:07 | 1m at the end.Someone is buying big | neo26
24/11/2023 16:17 | "Commencement of drilling signifies an early milestone in SDX's new roadmap in Morocco, which the Company will present imminently."This was 3 months ago, hopefully we hear something soooon... | neo26
24/11/2023 15:46 | seller is determined. It's not all me btw, some are though. | winnet
24/11/2023 15:39 | I think disposal rns next week and then 2 week notice for egm and then another two weeks to complete transaction. | neo26
24/11/2023 15:18 | Well done Winnet if that is you, seller must move up to 5p at some point (if he keeps going) | roman2325
24/11/2023 15:08 | c'mon folks, help me out here, i'm almost out of ammo. ;-) | winnet
24/11/2023 14:48 | The reason why sdx fell so much is that egypt govt are having issues with currency, once sdx have disposed they are out.Worth mentioning for the moroccan asset sdx paid $30m in 2017 along with 40% stake in NW Gemsa.Still believe morocco asset is worth more than current mkt cap. | neo26
24/11/2023 14:17 | But market makers will only mark it up because people are buying it - not one will have any idea what the intrinsic value of this is they'll hold zero on their book. I am very happen if I am wrong | roman2325
24/11/2023 14:05 | 6p is only 12m mkt cap.If egypt asset is sold for £10m, then there clearly is a price disconnect. | neo26
24/11/2023 13:58 | Personally I would prefer they didn't negotiate with the Chinese because I wouldn't want them taking any bigger haircut than they need to. You have a lot of buyers around there with very little supply but this part of the process is usually forgotten about. I would think we actually need a buyer to see it rise to 6p and unless thats Winnet doing all the volume then it will be a slow drift. Good time to buy like you say but how many institutions have got SDX on their Watch List lol | roman2325
24/11/2023 13:49 | Dont forget they are in negotiation with the chinese company to get greater upfront payment for gas.Alot will happen in dec. Can sell at mid now, so seller should be gone.Once egyptian asset sold this will be 6p plus. | neo26
24/11/2023 13:27 | I agree Neo although delaying it until now, then announcing good news before we've forgotten raises a couple of alarm bells. All these small cap CEOs talk about is the SP And considering Jay was the interim boss they clearly dont have a lot of options. Anyone worth their wait in gold (Gould lol) would dodge this for something better there are no youngsters in the industry if you've half a brain you become an influencer or start an Onlyfans. Hopefully Gould will steer the rudder rather than try and become the next Rockafeller. Again they are in a great little position onshore in N.Africa but have done nothing commercially on the ground and the whole market knows they have no leverage. Lets just build the base (and hope this seller gets cleaned out soon) then Egypt comes in and we strike lucky with the drilling campaign. We don't need a lot to go right, we just don't need to f88k it up either by running towards renewables | roman2325
24/11/2023 13:19 | The options may have been negotiated alot earliar. Just finally confirmed. Why have they made gould ceo now then? They must be happy with the progress. | neo26
24/11/2023 13:16 | Is that all you winnet? | neo26
24/11/2023 13:13 | Being realistic I wouldn't expect them to dole out a ton of share options then a week later announce we're off to the races. (Slow) and steady works at this stage I'd rather they focus on exploiting their position onshore and with Onhym than going green hydrogen and trying to turn this into a thousand bagger | roman2325
24/11/2023 12:59 | yes, I've been buying i think this has turnaround written all over it. | winnet
24/11/2023 12:57 | Someone is stake building here.Maybe next week we hear something. | neo26
24/11/2023 12:50 | Why is the large player taking so long to make firm offer? | neo26
24/11/2023 09:44 | I'm less concerned about the "what and where" and more concerned about the principles on which the strategy is based. 1. Funding. Needs to be based on zero further equity dilution, unless it's extremely value-accretive. 2. It needs a pathway to shareholder returns, be it growth or divis. This is key. Too long have LTHs suffered on the jam-tomorrow promises of squelch et al. 3. Location. Work in areas where we can actually do business [this rules out most of Africa] 4. Exploits the sweet spot in the energy transition in the next 10 years, hence gas should be the focus. Those are my initial musings. | winnet |
