Any rerate will mean some interest [and hence return] is probabble. What plan has management got to reward long-standing shareholders who are deeply out of pocket?

Sdx will only release the sale figure once they have signed the deal, maybe the other party wants to stay anonymous until deal is signed.Sdx have stated they want the deal to be concluded by year end, we will find out the sale figure before then as sdx has to give 4 week notice for egm and also they need permission from egyption authority.The share price crashed at end april 2023 when they issued results, it stated company was finding it difficult due to egypt not allowing $ to be removed out of country. Now that they have signed HoT for disposal i can see the share price recovering. Within 10 working days we will get interim results.

i reckon its because they are still negotiating the figure, That the only reason they wouldn't RNS it, not because of the low or disappointing value of the figure.

SDX are serial disappointers. We should temper our expectations. The fact that no figures have been included in recent RNS's in regards to the disposal for me is not an encouraging sign...but let's see.

Considering egypt conditions and companies finding it difficult to get money out of their will be interested to know how much cash is locked in their for sdx.Last year the produced around 30mmcfd net south disouq and 400bopd from west gharib.It appears no wells were drilled this year so they may have made some cash their.Once interims are out we may see a rerate here, within next 2 weeks they will be out.

Remember there was multiple offers, im interested to see what the receivables are. Granted we wont get full value but we should get some of it.In morocco the industrial area in kenitra requires gas, its only sdx who can provide it at present. So i dont blame the chinese company coming in and paying up from 2m is pennies for them.It would be funny if we get 20m for egyptian asset.

If i hadn't of sold on the way down and now had an average in the teens, or even higher, i would appalled by such a deal. But the problem is, how long have we been in Egypt and has it ever really worked for us... So i agree with TNT, its time to cut loose and try and create some shareholder value in other ways.

Interims will be out by end of this month, they need to be released within 3 months of the end of the first 6 months of the financial calendar.I expect production to be decreased in egypt and morocco.Not concerned about egypt just get out of their, all the money spent and achieved nothing.The large company buying the egyptian asset will be laughing they will manage to get hold of sdx infrastructure cheaper than what it would cost to build their own gas processing plant not to mention free receivables of upto 15m dollars.

They apparently negotiating bigger upfront payment for 2024 from chinese company.They have an porfolio of assets worth $1trillion. So they need gas supply as sdx are the only one supplying in morocco.Sdx has loads of receivables in egypt i think around 15m. So i expect at least 12m from the disposal with the infrastructure also included.

well, that's what we are all waiting on. I guess solar projects in Morrocco would be my best guess, but until they start talking who knows! Quite frankly, if they could sell it all off and wind the business up that might be best for all concerned!

12 would be good from where the share price is now. Thats well over the market cap. If that money is then deployed accretively, with a new strategy, then that would really put a rocket under the share price and it's not unimaginable that we'd see 20p again, it could be a possibility...

I think whoever gets egypt asset they will be happy, they can put there other gas resource through facility. Alot of red tape building plant.I think they will get 12m.
