IG just stated cash would be paid to the account upon deal completion with a currently unknown pay date as they don't deal with TSX.

I have contacted SDX investor relations also with this issue. Don't expect to hear anything of back of course.

Haywards, my understanding is that brokers who do not trade these shares will be required to do some form of arbitrage on your behalf. Worth asking them.

ned - who knows what it will be, the TNZ price could well drop back!

Of course, it could go higher, but equally, it could fall.

The TNZ share price matters diddly squat to UK PI's unable to trade TSX shares though...

It is not a 10p offer! It was 10p when Tenaz was 2.19 but they are now 2.64 .A lot higher !

Trouble is, PIs don't hold enough votes to make a difference.

You'd have thought Waha and M&R would not support a 10p offer... However, if Tenex rises over 3p... it makes the offer a little more attractive...

We are now a hostage to the TNZ share price.

I am on II, they will deal with them.

I cannot believe in this day and age that firms like IG are not set up to trade on a major world index like this... Bonkers.

Not good news, I have just had confirmation from IG that they don't offer TSX dealing so will mean all SDX IG private investors become forced sellers come completion of the deal...

Just reminding to vote would be helpful. Remember, it's a no to reelect box and reid.

Great results

You are right- the research I have read out of Canada is very positive on the deal- if Tenaz can keep their ratings post closing, then the combined business may trade at a materially higher level. just the management change has to be worth something. An effective see-through price of 16p looks easily attainable- 20p at apush. Maybe the NEDs/WAHA haven't done that bad a job getting Tenaz interested (just a pity they didn't get on with that a year ago!).
I see that two of the NEDs will be joining the combined Board- I wonder what fat contracts they have negotiated. Despite this i am minded to change my mind, support the deal, and hold thereafter

Would hope the merger synergies alone would give material uplift to the combined entities financial performance, that's before adding in better management of SDX's assets etc.

I thought dealing in TSX was very broker dependent. Is on my to do list to contact IG my broker for their position.

If I can hold I will post merger.

TSX is an approved stock Exchange which any platform can deal with(if they wish). On completion they will receive the stock automatically and then will have to deal for their clients.
Very few PI's hold privately

Is the disparity not due to the unknown ability of many UK PI's to hold Tenaz (TSX) listed shares!?

Yes there is no logic to the price differential here but Tenaz have increased by 20% here to 2.64 and analysts average price target is 4.67 so lots of value in the merged companies

I see this move as positive as it gets for SDX shareholders. Finally, shareholders will get rid of MF blood suckers.

Just had a look.... back in Q1 '17, at acquisition, net Moroccan production was 627boepd,

Q1 '22 net Moroccan production was 640boepd, albeit after the company chose not to renew a supply contract... a year ago net production was 1023boepd,

Still waiting for that deeper potential to be unlocked, or some liquids found.....

Morocco has been a huge disappointment..... market for SDX's gas has barely grown for the past few years & the explo upside there seems to keep slipping into the future, as Steve Miller might have said...

...South Disouq...... whoopee-doo!!! That's been a huge success....
