american block of shareholders:
sdx spv 19,48 ?
Ignalls 18,34
Nikolaos 4,37
Valerie 3,55

It looks to me that there is an american based east coast old money "nest" of investors. there must be a central "spider" in this nest. US controls over 50 %. this spider probably runs the show and did probably so also before. PW was an actor who became a liability. so no need for a CEO.

It looks like that Valerie is a medical doctor. Why would she invest into AIM small oiler? She must be an agile investor or she was told about it.

Nikolaos is highly educated ranch owner.

It all started in Canada and it looks Mr Doyle is behind it (CanPetro and Madison PetroGas which was merged into SDX!). He is protecting his capital. SDX SPV is probably his interest

I am ok with it

still no CEO ??

I looked at the trades after the first sudden rise and the recent one - one started selling at 25 p. a lot. before that - I could not buy easily.

trading range? 20 - 25 till news?

managing share price for a corporate action? low share price price for a corporate action due to Egipt unstable, no free cash flow from Morroco, no CEO ....

lets wait and see lol

weak ending - after US woke up lots of sells to buys

cup and handle?

someone is selling a lot (measured in the daily trading vol) at a critical chart point. many 20k sells, some 100k. and chart is going strong despite it. for now

So South Ramadan is expected to flow at approximately 1300 barrels per day. Net to SDX after Government take is around 80 barrels a day. Naff all, but hopefully will allow them to recoup the expenses incurred in getting the well to this point. It was expected to be a duster so to get your costs back and maybe make a bit of money on it is a good outcome.

They will ramp up production and pressure test each section so I agree that it will come on line slowly with intermediate testing.

Looks like another 6 weeks or so to first gas if the presentation is to be believed. Although I believe that includes up to 7 weeks of contingency time. So gas could realistically be flowing today.

Bought 20k shares here as initial position. The trauma from pw is now in the past and looking forward to first gas from sd imminently.

I bought in close to the lows and sold out at a small profit.

It appears that there is a non-zero chance of regime change if ongoing Egyptian protests flare. Egyptian markets are down quite notably :(

Yep, that's what they've been doing. I am sure the most recent presentation lists the Egyptian receivables figure.

shakeypremis,

From the most recent set of results, I make it $16.1mln, which I assume is mostly Egyptian receivables. If they can offset capex for services provided in Egypt by Egyptian state co, that is acceptable.

Cash, I don't think receivables for current production is a problem in Egypt (or SDX wouldn't be getting paid for the oil they're producing and they defintiely are). The outstanding receivables are related to the Circle acquisition. They've been recovering a lot of the receivables owed by offsetting South Disouq CAPEX against the receivables balance. I am not sure how much there is left but the figure is definitely in recent presentations/RNSs. I would look there for your figure.
