23/8/2019 11:30 | Looks like my top up today was badly timed. But no worries with my two buys at 18p and 23.5p.Am hoping for at least 50p by new year if all goes well at SD. | jungmana
23/8/2019 08:44 | Added a little this morning. Looking strong for a move to 30p+ short term imo. | jungmana
23/8/2019 08:25 | nice volume starting again.. bid next week ???? lets hope so.... | pjj71
22/8/2019 13:08 | I understand perfectly shakeypremis, but what you're suggesting is that there has been a collective realisation that share was undervalued in the last couple of trading periods so buyers are buying now on a spike rather than last week when they could have bought much lower. Well I'd hesitate to describe this as a "spike", though time will tell. But yes to an extent you are right, and that's how the markets often work with smaller less well researched stocks. As others have said, we've had a string of delays and other less than positive news. But today's results could be seen as moving on from that. SD remains on track for the current (already delayed) timing. The second of the three key milestones (getting the gear through customs) is passed - something that was being queried for possible significant delays recently). The Morocco program is moving forward and funded. And Egypt are continuing to catch up with payments. All these things could yet run into problems, or be delayed further, but if things continue on track last week's price is beginning to look seriously underpriced (and today's may well do too). | greyingsurfer
22/8/2019 12:29 | We should end this year at about 7,000 boe/d production. Imo 60p is a realistic medium term target | jungmana
22/8/2019 11:40 | Up 40% in 3 days so got to be profit takers from 16p area. Needs to cool down a bit. | jungmana
22/8/2019 11:24 | hd, I think the future is looking a lot rosier. I have not taken a stake yet, but was drawn to this again by some old timers I know. Maybe after the current strong price performance has died down a little. Cash | cashandcard
22/8/2019 11:20 | Welcome back cash! I sold 75% of my shares 18 months ago, for reasons unconnected with the company. Looks clever in retrospect but was just lucky. | hiddendepths
22/8/2019 11:17 | This one and itx competing today. Happy holder here | jungmana
22/8/2019 11:13 | I think something else that may have been holding the price down and perhaps may not happen now is some sort of 'kitchen-sink' moment, where other skeletons in the PW cupboard might have been discovered/declared. It would be quite weird if management were to announce the latter following the more upbeat recent announcements. | haideralifool
22/8/2019 10:48 | Rollthedice, you know the market isn't perfect. This was massively oversold and liquidity was very low. The free float here is something like 30%. That's not a lot. A technical descending wedge pattern broke out yesterday and these things more often than not resolve to the upside and sometimes violently. hxxps://invst.ly/bul | shakeypremis
22/8/2019 10:31 | rollthedice, I've been out of this for nearly two years. I did not like PW and his style of management (should've listened to former char holders), the previous payment issues with Egypt which meant dilution upon dilution and the uncertainty over how they were going to fund SD development. Those issues have largely been addressed or resolved. What's changed, the outlook. With SD production to start by year end, this is looking investable again to me. Cash | cashandcard
22/8/2019 10:27 | About GBP 46m market cap right now. You decide if cheap or fair. Could be double that by new year imo | jungmana
22/8/2019 10:26 | I understand perfectly shakeypremis, but what you're suggesting is that there has been a collective realisation that share was undervalued in the last couple of trading periods so buyers are buying now on a spike rather than last week when they could have bought much lower. | rollthedice
22/8/2019 10:26 | Sentiment seems to have changed. That's more important than anything in a stock..!! Seller's exhausted and buyers stepping in finally | jason_scrap
22/8/2019 10:22 | No Rollthedice. That again assumes the previous price was fair value. Don't you understand that that's what you've said previously? Pricing is never perfect, that's the only thing that allows you to buy undervalued stocks. | shakeypremis
22/8/2019 10:21 | It wasn't a fair price then! Nothing new in this RNS but it's certainly dawned on some how undervalued this is. About time too! | hiddendepths
22/8/2019 10:20 | What has changed that has a material impact on earnings/value? | rollthedice
22/8/2019 10:18 | Rollthedice, that comment assumes that last week's price was fair-value. I'm not saying it was or it wasn't but your comment assumes it was. | shakeypremis
22/8/2019 10:16 | Is SDX really worth half what it was when it made the SD discovery? | brasso3
22/8/2019 10:14 | Is SDX really worth c45% more than it was last week based on this RNS? I don't think so personally but at least holders get some relief and perhaps an exit opportunity with economic outlook deteriorating. | rollthedice
22/8/2019 10:14 | Hiddendepths, I want to see a confirmed exploration programme with high priority targets. The major CAPEX in SD is done now. Further CAPEX will be drilling and hookup costs. Their first drilling campaign in SD was tremendously successful, if their second campaign (which is yet to be confirmed) is half as good that will be good enough in my opinion. | shakeypremis
22/8/2019 10:11 | Haha...hiddendepths, I put up a post on the MIN thread the other day, the shares hadn't done anything for months and was at their lows , In my post I said invested in MIN was dead money and nothing looked to be on the horizon in the news dept...what did the share price do straight after my post!!!!shot up near on 24%...It was as if MM's had read my post and proceeded to rub my nose in my prediction..lol. | grannyboy
22/8/2019 10:00 | grannyboy. Certainly make mistakes, some very big. FWIW I read some interesting analysis years ago about research analysts and their recommendations. The long-run success was pretty much exactly 50% over hundreds of analysts and covering many years. After reading that, I published the statistical success or otherwise of my recommendations each month in my sector newsletter. I did it for some 18 months until I moved to another firm. My success rate over that time was a smidge over 65% and the record was there for all the firm's clients to see! I'm pretty proud of that record but I certainly made some truly awful calls in the 35%! And please don't talk to me about Max Petroleum or Ascent Resources. The egg on my face from those two will probably never be cleaned off! Back on topic: in my view, a fair price at present for SDX is somewhere in the low 40s. I'm certainly not selling out for anything less than that. Beyond that depends on plans for what happens after South Disouq starts generating significant cashflow. | hiddendepths
22/8/2019 09:55 | Good progress and looks seriously undervalued given the next 6-9 months lookahead. | duckdown |
