06/2/2020 22:55 | Good chance this should pop back up through 300p. | its the oxman
04/2/2020 17:19 | The hit to the bottom line will be more than any revenue lost (eg now they have full time personnel in the country), though still not too significant as the company do seem to be struggling to break into the market in China. Now, if only they had sold some machines in Wuhan the Chinese would have been able to build that 1,000 bed hospital in 9 days rather than 10! | grahamburn
04/2/2020 15:02 | China is about 6% of revenue so if the CV cut all China construction for the next year you would expect that sort of level of impact. More if the CV causes a global construction recession. Less if the CV restrictions are over before the end of the year and there is no spillover into global construction growth. Mid case guess, maybe 3% revenue impact to SOM? | dangersimpson2
04/2/2020 14:32 | How much do you think the CV situation in china effect SOM? Your thoughts on this subject would be appreciated. Tia | rick802
23/1/2020 12:15 | Interesting to note United States' December payroll figures disappointed but construction jobs rose by 20,000: | mfhmfh
23/1/2020 11:42 | OXMAN, patience mate! We are within a whisker of your 300p. What about mine of 350! | eggbaconandbubble
23/1/2020 09:00 | I posted some nice videos from the sky screed on twitter on my scuttlebutt. @arregius | arregius
23/1/2020 08:22 | Still reckon this will drag itself back over 300p. Obviously more to go as well if decent trading can continue. | its the oxman
23/1/2020 05:52 | Somero Enterprises (SOM) were up by 9 per cent this morning after the group said that it had seen a “strong finish to 2019”, exceeding its previous guidance. hxxps://rb.gy/2dwveo | dice1950
22/1/2020 19:09 | As linked in today's SCVR - Somero Sky Screed 25 Video: | hawaly
22/1/2020 18:38 | Any idea what this years dividend will actually be? | 3800
22/1/2020 18:22 | Thanks Fred, I might ask them if I can copy & paste it on the basis that it may get them some more subscribers. Still, it was very positive. I think it confirms that we should get a good run up here before a lull to see if the new technology is a winner. | eggbaconandbubble

22/1/2020 10:49 | Graham Neary gives a positive review in today's Small Cap Value Report on Stockopedia for subscribers. | fredfishcake
22/1/2020 10:27 | good divis but earnings are expected marginally to decline by the looks of it. | mw8156
22/1/2020 09:32 | FinnCap today reiterates 380p target price: 'We maintain our 380p PT, based around a 9.3x EV/EBITDA and P/E of 14.1x for 2020'. Also dividend of 7.3%: '...with better than expected cash performance and a boost to underlying and supplemental dividends, which results in a juicy current year total yield of 7.3%.' | mfhmfh
22/1/2020 09:11 | great update today if you're a long-term holder with looks like consolidation in 2020 as the company invests before growing again in 2021. At the same time still paying dividends and special dividends. Also, I'd note the company is always cautious and often 'under promises and over delivers' so I wouldn't be surprised if we grew in 2021 as well - the trading update today shows this. All IMHO. | mfhmfh
22/1/2020 09:05 | This is a large position for me and I was starting to get nervous about the trading update being later than usual... Things now look very positive compared to September-November time, but today's statement is not without caveats. We're likely to be covering Somero in today's Small Caps Live at 11am, but to be sure please vote at hxxps://discordapp.c | leoinvestoruk
22/1/2020 08:44 | Positive update, no reason not to be over 300p by next week - expect a bit of good coverage in Investors Chronicle etc to bring fresh money in and drive price up. I guess a few will take profits today; those who bought around 185-200p mark. I'm holding mine for 350p+. Rich | lammylover

22/1/2020 08:38 | Without appearing to be ramping. With the general market in bullish mode, the BOE threatening to reduce interest rates - weakening the £ - I reckon 350p possible short term. Still could be wrong. Have been many times in the past. | eggbaconandbubble
22/1/2020 08:21 | Expecting this to move back above 300p | its the oxman
22/1/2020 08:14 | 'Right, said Fred' - Exactly! PS. Do you or don't you put salmon in them? | eggbaconandbubble
22/1/2020 08:09 | Revenue, profits and cash ahead of forecasts. Skyscreed going well. Trust gained in that their reason for first half underperformance (the weather) was obviously true as it's now turned around. Continuing commitment to special dividends. A lot to like here, no reason not to regain previous highs in my opinion. Only downside is that they'll be investing more in Skyscreed this year so forecasting flat performance for next year - but for a good reason in that it's due to investment for the future. Happy holder! | fredfishcake
22/1/2020 07:56 | What in particular do u like about it. (From a busy 9-5 worker, but long term holder) | scooper72 |
