Have a reply from Eliza

La Hueca ..progressing slowly .

Porvenir.. not started yet but have rigs
So more than one being prepared

BLANCA ... decided not to drill at presant and will concentrate on the other 2 sites for the moment .

Hope that helps clear up the uncertainty

Count, I'm no expert and so it's better to read and listen to some of the SOLG presentations. The company believe they have multiple sites with potential to be larger than Alpala. Ecuador has much the same geology as Chile but has never been explored. SOLG are the largest operator in Ecuador with most of the prime locations.

The rns in june didnot say they had started drilling . La Hueca is clear .

I am just asking for confirmation one way or the other as it is confusing at the moment .

I very much doubt it will be as big, look at the size and scale of Alpala, so you are saying they will find the 2nd largest copper-gold strike in the last decade. Highly unlikely....but, I do think it could be something very large. The size and scale of these mines is tremendous, there are some amazing videos on YouTube of the Grasberg mine, documentaries detailing the find, value, squabbles and arguments and the immensity of these mines.

Alpala is a tier 1 asset, absolutely huge. Very exciting to be even debating the fact they could find another similar type asset.

Mk, not drilling would be considered price sensitive information given their RNS at end June said they would be and that has not been updated. Hence, if the answer is negative you may not get a response or they may refuse to answer. If positive, I would expect them to refer you to the end June RNS.

Count, only time will tell. You are far more likely to be correct and I am certainly no geologist. However comparing the pre-drilling results of Alpala to those at Porvenir, the rock saw samples are significantly richer and the soil samples are also richer. The magnetic testing has more than twice the volume of Alpala. It is possible the early tests are misleading but Nick himself has described Porvenir as twice as large. No point in debating it though, we need the drill results.

Lowtrawler, Porevnir won't be as big as Alpala, look at those drill results from Alpala, they compare with the very best drill results EVER, comparable to the super mines like Grasberg. You can tell me all you like that it will be bigger, but it won't be.

Rio Amarillo could be a monster.

Everybody has bought waiting for news . So basically no one left to buy is my opinion . Institutions dont seem interested in adding even at this price .

Wouldnt take alot to get the share price back to 27p or down to 23p

Historically, SOLG tends to drift down on lack of news. The exploration news should become more regular shortly and that will support the price.

Disruptor, volume is still very low and so it looks like prices can be set anywhere between 25p and 27p without generating many buys or sells. I think everyone is waiting for news and not looking to trade without it.

Sub 25p. Didn't think we would see this again.

Thanks Pob. I believe SOLG previously announced there would be no new drilling licenses until Q4 this year, including Rio Amarillo. It's the same type of local challenge that was made at Alpala and which we can expect to repeat at every location.

There could be a reason for no reported progress for Rio Amarillo (Cahuasqui parish) noting last RNS in June (....Construction of camps and core handling facilities are well advanced. Scout drilling approvals applied and pending) SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L #cascabel #ecuador.

The deal SOLG have offered CGP is extremely generous. Turn 15% of Cascabel, 6% of SOLG and a $150m debt to SOLG into 15% of SOLG with no debt. Rationally, they should be rushing to sign up.

CGP are upset they need to decide just before BHP come out of standstill and within days of the expected PFS.SOLG chose their timing so as to put CGP in that position.CGP have only ever had one exit strategy. Elicit a bid for Cascabel and take the money. They are annoyed SOLG don't want to sell and they are being backed into a corner of having to be taken over instead. If they don't take the SOLG deal, they are gambling on someone taking over SOLG in the next 12 months and paying CGP more for their ENSA stake.

Gersemi. That was/is always going to be the case when one part of the partnership is working on the ground and the other not . Who knows if Solgold are abusing that knowledge .

Count, Porvenir is more than double the area of Alpala and has had richer rock saw samples than Alpala did. SOLG have repeatedly said they believe they have several Alpala sized or bigger sites in their portfolio. Porvenir and Rio Amarillo could both dwarf Alpala.

'SolGold has an informational advantage as a result of its position as operator of the Cascabel Project, and the timing and structure of its Hostile Bid is prejudicial and unfairly disadvantages Shareholders'

Is the inference or accusation that Mather is withholding price sensitive information that may materially increase the value of Alpala and therefore the price that would need to be paid to secure CGP's equity? That's how I perceive this statement from CGP

I don't see how it could be "twice as big" when Alpala is the largest copper-gold find in the last 10 years. Look at the size of Alpala, highly unlikely that Porvenir would come close, Amarillo could be a big one.

Although I've said the chances are slight (dream time again). If initial drill holes at Porvenir are all positive, with assay results, and demonstrate intersects, we likely have a much bigger find than Alpala. Probably at least twice as big. The market will likely rate us over 70p. The find will confirm that some of our other priority sites are also likely to be significant and this could take us towards 100p. We will become a much more attractive target and bids may actually happen at over 120p.This is my dream. What are the chances? Probably less than 5%.

Mk, I believe you are hoping for too much to be achieved by early October. We might get some positive initial drill indications but unless they are tremendous, I doubt it will move the dial by enough to sway CGP. You have to remember that their deadline is only 6 weeks away. They're the turkeys who will vote for Xmas.I believe Nick already has a good view on Porvenir drilling. If positive, he'll try to add value from formal assay reports and additional drill holes. If he can announce multiple drill holes, each with positive results and demonstrating intersects, our share price will go ballistic and CGP will likely capitulate. The chances of this happening are slight. If negative, he'll want additional drill holes to check. In both cases, we won't get a Porvenir announcement until Nick is ready.

As i have said before if we get some really good drilling results on our 100% owned regionals our share price will rise as will Cornerstones offer based on Solgolds shareprice . They will then accept our offer .

NM will then use the 15% extra to help fund the building the mine .
