01/7/2020 14:05 | Lowtrawler .. The shareprice is being held down probably by Cornerstone which makes no sense to me to sell what in a takeover is there strongest asset ..Or maybe BHP have friends that are shorting the stock . Either way i will hold until the takeover which will shorly come . | ![]() mknight
01/7/2020 13:36 | It will also dilute BHP and Newcrest holdings while giving NM andother 15% . The importance of this is that 15% could be turned into 1.5 billion with another deal simular to Francos . Price imho is very cheap . Cant see us getting beyond August before someone makes an offer . It really is getting close to now or never . | ![]() mknight
01/7/2020 13:04 | Lol......still dreaming mcrampyThe price hasn't moved anywhere since I stated posting here , you however are down over 30 percent after starting your ramping at 31p....well done......Gamblers never admit their losing trades only the hindsight winning ones...... | ![]() nas_daq
01/7/2020 12:48 | Hannam Partners view Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador Cornerstone deal would give cleaner structure & clearer path to value creation for both parties "...If successful, we would view the transaction as mutually beneficial for SOLG and CGP shareholders, offering immediate value-accretion for both parties..." This is an important comment not expressed elsewhere... "...According to details released by SOLG alongside its offer... CGP is not permitted to “grant security” over its 15% stake in Alpala via a debt financing, royalty, metal stream or other structure. In our view, this severely limits CGP’s options to either fund its ~US$390-420m share of Alpala’s construction capex or crystallise value from its 15% stake, other than to sell itself at the corporate level. ...." | ![]() pob69
01/7/2020 12:45 | This first card on the table of this poker game, is setting the price floor for whoever might be considering taking over Cornerstone as part of a Solg takeover. No doubt Citi Group have advised on this move. | ![]() lefrene
01/7/2020 12:39 | SP Angel's view Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador "...The consolidation of ownership of the Alpala project seems an eminently sensible and pragmatic move which should simplify operational management as Alpala moves towards development." | ![]() pob69
01/7/2020 12:36 | Nas daq .. by December we will be 40p plus and you will no doubt be telling everyone to sell at 40p .. forgetting you were wrong at 10 20 30 and 40 .. Back to the filter until December . | ![]() mknight

01/7/2020 08:45 | Let them sell, they are eating up their inheritance. Soon the jam jar will be empty and they will have to cough up a few hundred million. | ![]() greenelf

01/7/2020 08:15 | Liberum's view Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador BUY TP 58p (from 63p due to recent fundraise dilution) "Attractive offer to Cornerstone" "... The simplification should increase the attractiveness for a potential acquirer and it remains our base case that SolGold is bid for in the next 12 months." | ![]() pob69

30/6/2020 23:13 | lol lol lol!!! 56% premium, paid for in paper shares. omg you lot are either blind or deluded. Don't mention the war i mean dilution! No-one mentioned it and they think they got away with it!!! as if things werent bad enough maybe you should ask why cornerstone are selling. nah rather not think at all. was after 15pnow down to 10p and were gone | ![]() pmount
30/6/2020 22:42 | If i was cornerstone i would stop selling solg shares at 20 odd p . Once they stop the share price will take off giving them a higher value for whomever takes them over . If they sell their shareholding all they have left is 15% of Ensa which does not control solgold. Solgold may then pull the offer and pick it up later for 3.5 million . | ![]() mknight
30/6/2020 19:18 | The real question is what they do with the cash received. If the directors use it for any purpose one assumes that Canadian law would expect them to be acting in the shareholders`/compan PS I would expect Canadian company law to have rules on what a company can and can`t do once an offer has been tabled... | ![]() arcadian
30/6/2020 18:12 | In the "Pacman" defence, the target company buys shares in the acquirer...therefore it seems there is no prohibition of CGP in selling or buying SOLG shares.... | ![]() rougepierre
30/6/2020 17:49 | From the Mines and Money roundtable this afternoon Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador Warren Irwin: paraphrasing his response to Ecuador and Solgold question with nothing unsurprising and he additionally made no reference to the proposed takeover... ....Alpala deposit is a great project and is invested but has challenges with Management which will be solved in October with the BHP handcuffs coming off in terms of whether they replace management or take over the company as a whole or maybe a Chinese company does. It is a top 5 asset as mentioned by CEO of BHP. Joe, when asked, didn't want to offer any comments. | ![]() pob69
