25/6/2020 10:50 | Good riddance, let`s get of the Newcrest and BHP MONKEY OFF OUR BACKS!!!. Full support for NM and board to TAKE sOLGOLD to an independent major gold/copper world player. Nothing will be decided by Cornerstone, Newcrest or BHP,it will in the final analysis, be decided by the entirety of Solgold shareholders. | ![]() tibszol1
25/6/2020 10:46 | Will he/ they mention it at the next PR session to give us a clue as to what`s going on? | ![]() arcadian
25/6/2020 10:26 | Ramping and price drops? Perhaps we need a de-raper! We had thought it strange that Newcrest didn't take part in fundraising. Has there been some sort of disagreement on way forward ?- Don't know. Is it sign Newcrest intend to bid ?- Don't know. Is NM taking it to production ?- Don't know. Why is price falling ? -Don't know. Tech appointments seem to have experience in the field. Interesting one has worked for Barrick gold for 10 years. All in NM's hands isn't it and he knows. | ![]() mam fach
25/6/2020 10:25 | The share price fall on today's news can also be taken 2 ways:1. The market think Newcrest have really fallen out with SOLG and are about to make them pay.2. Manipulation of the share price has commenced prior to a takeover offer. | ![]() lowtrawler
25/6/2020 09:56 | I think cornerstone are likely to play a part in any Newcrest takeover action. They will be aiming for a better deal than SOLG have offered them and act as something of a trump card with their 15% in Alpala. It remains to be seen how cornerstone are played though. | ![]() lowtrawler
25/6/2020 09:56 | Excellent ramping this morning and the price keeps dropping, even better.....Mkrampyni | ![]() nas_daq
25/6/2020 09:54 | Agreed. We need a fat lady but if she is still waiting in the wings for her grand finale we need patience (and a vaccine) | ![]() arcadian
25/6/2020 09:51 | Sleep is for whimps... It is never dull and I think the window of opportunity for corporate actions has shortened but what do I know?... Nick Mather in today's RNS "...we enter the next stage of the Company's lifecycle. ...PFS programme continues with a September 30, 2020 objective. ... the Company is fully funded for the next 18 months." I imagine the proactive interview later was pre-recorded prior to today's news but if not it could be interesting viewing though sadly no questions can be posed directly. | ![]() pob69
25/6/2020 09:51 | Newcrest have a good relationship with cornestsone would make sense for them to buy the Cornerstone shares they hold in solgold and the 15% in Ensa before Bhp are let off the leash.. Not sure how NM can defend a takeover if BHP and NEWCREST get together with cornerstones share will take them to approx 34% | ![]() mknight
25/6/2020 09:36 | As per the discussions earlier this week, I believe that the Newcrest spat is a fabrication which frees their hands for a takeover. I don't believe that Newcrest will be the key party in the takeover and they will support a third party. If this analysis is correct, the action is likely to commence very soon. If they wait for exploration results to come streaming in, the price is likely to increase and moving now also allows them to take FNV out of the picture. If you want to increase your exposure to SOLG, now is the time to do it. | ![]() lowtrawler
25/6/2020 09:26 | Pob Thank for your vigilance. I do hope that you manage to get some sleep sometime. | ![]() arcadian
25/6/2020 09:21 | And if option 2 is most likely, SOLG will be drilling as much as possible in order to boost that share price before takeover! | ![]() pparekh20

25/6/2020 09:15 | The news in the current RNS, we were made aware of in the last RNS anyway. Nothing surprising, but a chance to top up at low prices. | ![]() pparekh20
25/6/2020 08:56 | Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador. As a reminder on his appointment 3/3/17 .... Pursuant to the Agreement, Newcrest have anti-dilution rights, and are obligated to follow the direction of the Board of SolGold in an independently recommended change of control transaction supported by 60% of SolGold shareholders. | ![]() pob69
25/6/2020 08:53 | The resignation of Craig Jones has been well flagged but has just reminded people about the Newcrest spat. There are 2 ways to look at it: 1. Newcrest are genuinely upset and are taking their toys away. This will be the first of many adverse moves against SOLG. 2. The spat is a fabrication and removing their Director will free them up for Corporate takeover actions against SOLG. I favour the latter. | ![]() lowtrawler
25/6/2020 08:46 | Are Newcrest selling out or going hostile? | ![]() waterloo01
25/6/2020 08:34 | Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador. Craig Jones has resigned from the Solgold board on the request of Newcrest. Gloves off? In light of the new recruits, I looked at the about us team page 30 minutes ago and he was listed. | ![]() pob69

24/6/2020 14:09 | A month is a long time in exploratory mining and a world reeling from Covid 19 and with only a month of silence it would be foolish to decamp, hoping for a better buying opportunity. e.g. BHP have put their coal mines up for sale presumably hoping to improve their green image. The proceeds could be £1.5 billion and conceivably be orientated to copper and gold. Fortunately we are not the arbiters of this and must await the outcomes. In the Trump deal vocabulary however is the word "leverage " which is where one party has something the other wants. My money is clearly with Nick who has what many big players want. | ![]() arcadian
24/6/2020 13:43 | Rp, I think it's a little early for a breakout. I believe we'll need news on exploration activity or finalisation of the FNV deal. Maybe about a month away? | ![]() lowtrawler

24/6/2020 12:11 | I'm fully invested and will hold long-term. I have no intention to buy or sell given my current knowledge on the share. Indeed, despite me focusing on the negatives, I have continued to say it is good value. | ![]() lowtrawler |
