NM said Cornestone offer was very close what did you say to me last night lowtrawler ......
.
Said DD,s idea for off setting regionals into seperate companies was for cheap skates which made me laugh ..

Also confirmed my post about raising 100 million in equity which would be a 15% presant for the larger sharholders another one of DD,s great ideas .

Cannot buy shares which was interesting .
Nice hold or add as sooner or later will breakout .

Well said Phat.

I think that puts me with the bulls. All we require is patience. That doesn`t require any streaming finance at all and can`t be discounted to zero although it`s quite likely that someone here with a degree in Behavioural Economics will probable try.

Differences between GGP and SOLG:
1) GGP will have 25% of 20-30m ounces which is 7.5m ounces of gold from Haverion. SOLG have 18.5m ounces from Alpala as a by product.
2) Haverion is being fast tracked in a low risk country of Australia and is near the Telfer mine thereby low start up capital costs. SOLG is a higher risk higher reward play in Ecuador.
3) Newcrest has fingers in both pies but will eventually take out GGP for 20-30p but not before the summer of 2021.
4) by this time next year SOLG should have had their fair share of takeover bids or big progress towards finding a 2nd Alpala and being valued at 50% of the new NPV of Alpala. Maybe £1/share on no bid.

Side by side both good companies but GGP shareholders are all retail traders. SOLG are institutional. GGP also overvalued based on current hype of takeover.

By the end of 2021 Both will be taken over. GGP +200% from today’s values, but SOLG +400-600%. Failing that, SOLG on its way to being a Major.

Rp, it's rare to have an explorer valued at less than their largest find with so many great prospects to come. Essentially, it's as close as you'll find to a risk free explorer. Which is strange to say given they're in Ecuador.

GGP is much further back than us...MRE H2 2020...and they only own 60% of Havieron...Newcrest owns the rest...

I am more and more of the conclusion that Solgold is massively undervalued. I'm n itv ramping...the scale of the resource and the 71 undefined projects leaves me wondering why I haven't got even more invested...

Surely its only a matter of time...

Oh and LT as regards your point, I recall reading an article saying that optimum value only starts at 1 year from production...that was certainly true with ATYM which is also massively undervalued IMHO)...

And meanwhile, down we go again....dipped into the 26s for the bid...are the MMs trying to tree shake before a massive up movement...?

It is a good prospect even for someone with a pessimistic view which to my way of thinking could almost qualify for a cup half full.

It should be fun ahead so let`s enjoy the ride.

RP LT -It doesn't work like that. Peeps rush in to a promising story, and momentum keeps it going. No one at this rel early stage sits down and works out what it might be worth. The only figures bandied about are the crazy 'in-ground' sky-high fantasy ones. (Having said which I haven't really looked at GGP)

FSAW, we're still an explorer and not a producer. We sit in that strange middle ground where we are trying to transition to production.Having a view of the longer term funding so early in the process is actually pretty good and even my pessimistic view assesses that the funding will leave a good return for current shareholders.

rp, it's one of the great investment mysteries. You often come across unloved gems that are so clearly undervalued that you think they have to takeoff but it can take them several years to do so. In other cases you see massive over valuations but the share price can continue to rise for years. I've stopped trying to understand what causes these anomalies and just take advantage of them instead.

So what I'm asking myself is...why is Greatland's MCap £338 million and ours only £538 million when we are a far better story...

GGP up 258% from the bottom...we're only up 150%...

Is someone deliberately throttling the share price in contemplation of a bid...?

FSAW, it's all in the MD&A. Hundreds of staff, lots of activity. I reckon to drill 5 sites and keep the other projects ticking over, they will need to raise at least 15m and possibly 25m. If they make a discovery, another 25m to PEA. This is why we need an announcement on funding for those projects.

One of your better posts phat. I was worried you'd been taken over by the roses. I think we need to take NM at his word and he doesn't want a takeover. It doesn't mean it won't be forced on him.The streaming RNS was very clear that the financing was only for Alpala. Either they have renegotiated the deal or NM is being a bit disingenuous saying it can be used for local drilling. I still think funding for our other projects is the next significant announcement.

rp - I Haven't said I'm not invested here, And I haven't said I am. I'm never going to tell anyone where I'm invested - or not invested. Its irrelevant to whatever comments I make.

AS for Bod share blokk. Maybe theyre working on a modification to the Cornerstone offer

Dozy...a 'serious investor' would be invested in SOLG...otherwise why are you here...?

We're not a hobby...this is serious for some of us...we've already got £170k at risk here...

If you're the serious analyst you appear to be, please tell us why you're not invested here, because we should be worried...

DD I may have misheard but I heard “exploration” and not specifically Alpala. But I may be wrong.

What I am thinking now is why can the Dorectors still not buy? What is holding them back. They’ve already declared FNV and $2bn funding, declared cornerstone bid is coming, declared permits are coming, so what else is behind the scenes stopping them from buying? Furthermore the bridge loan is 4 months only and exploration is not really being focussed on. All focus is on Alpala. Add to that NM Mentioned “interest rates will be low for the rest of MY SHORT LIFE” I think he is planning retirement on takeover but he wants a good price.

Thoughts welcome on my rose tinted view above...

PHAT - The $150m from FNV isn't 'carved out for exploration' Its 'carved out for further exploration around Alpala, Whats' the TERM for hearinG what you want to hear ? - other than what was sAID ? (eQUIVALENT TO SEEING THOUGH ROSE COLOURED SPECTACLES)
