I dont know what drugs market is on but ggp is coming close to our market cap! And we have a gigantic rich resources where bidders are falling over themselves for a little slice of solg and yet we are at pathetic 20p

No opinions. Just research from me as there is too much noise and I find taking emotion out of things works best for me...

Not company specific but the minister of mining is currently being interviewed and worth following on twitter $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador

"Mining is The future economic pillar of Ecuador for the next 10 to 15 years. Our mining prospects are increasingly consolidating as one of the most attractive in the region."

As lef said "we have so many unknown unknowns" even for good a mathematician however good at modelling he is and because of this we are running ahead of ourselves with
premature ejaculation hence my offer of a truce.

I think he is right .

150 million for Apala and a rights issue
Probably for 30 million (guess) for regionals

NM said he would buy shares or support finance. The question is how much raised ..20 or 30 million at at what price . I said before NM would not be popular if it was less than 20p . Indeed the higher the price the bigger the uplift imho

This is my translation ..of knickers etc

Looks like he lost alot of money in KIBO .

But like most know it alls They never state their cases clear and disappear only to return if the share price falls to say how clever they are . Of course it they are wrong you never hear from them for a few months .

I filtered DD some time ago for unfounded negativity. From what you say he seems to think there will be a rights issue? That's not how I read it, but I could be wrong.

Lefrene that part we agree on although DD thinks the agreement will be poor for Solgold .

Then we move onto monies raised for drilling the regionals .This i think is where we lose our knickers . DD seems to think the money raised will be at less than
The share price or the last 3 days . 20.6..19.90
And the close tomorrow .

But as he has not put it on black and white we may never know . Which also means he is of no use and does not want to help shareholders as he stated .

If these are offers to buy forward offtake, then there should not be any share dilution. From the smelters point of view it's forward buying presumably at a fixed price in the future, and would be exercisable regardless of who the actual miner is? This interest by smelters to buy future offtake might just spur on a miner who would rather own the site now, and charge the going rate for ore in the future rather than let it go cheap now? Perhaps we will see some corporate action soon?

Is it not better DD explains in english
Why he thinks the up and coming fund raising will be bad for shareholders .

If indeed thats what he is saying .

Since there are discussions/negotiations with unknown parameters between unknown participants the outcomes of which will have seminal and secular consequences it would seem a good time for a compromise. I will ease back my optimism and in return you could temper your boasting half empty stance. That way we will mislead no one as we await the outcome and any news together.

DD doesn't score points He posts objective opinions to help investors, based on research, investment maths, knowledge of investor sentiment, and experience. Unlike this board where opinions are based on wishful fantasy and no knickers (maths) whatsoever. We'll see - quite soon I fear - the lack of knickers.

Agree with all long term holders.
Disagree with 50p- far, far too low.
Think there's a dark horse out there.
As said NM keeping his cards close to his chest.
Interesting week.
If only everyone could work in unity rather than try and score political points.
Stay safe. Stay indoors. Try and stay sane.Hard for everyone.

For Alpala sounds like he could raise as much as he wants .I would be inclined to raise double the amount 270 million if payback is not until production .

Always nice to have a chunk of money behind you .

Arcadian, the 'known unknowns' thesis! :¬) Yup once we start seeing the depths of the purses of the suitor smelters it should move the price.

mam fach, I feel that NM is still holding his cards close to his chest. It's only by demonstrating that he has a viable path to go it alone, that he can get an honest price out of any big miner who wants to own it. Take off agreements whilst providing money to start a mine, also have value to a would be acquirer, and probably could be leveraged to raise finance if wished, rather than using their own reserves.

It will be a very interesting week or 2 for solg, either a bid by someone like bhp, newcrest, barricks etc or financiers and smelters take this all the way to production, it should be a win win situation for holders

NM wanting to take SOLG to production has held price back.
Expect few RNS's next week.
With current economic climate mining companies better off putting cash into assets.
Some of us SOLGers been mesmerized for far too long.
Think an Australian miner rather than Chinese.
Might hit all time high soon.

mckn et al. 'Paperwork' is always the treacle through which miners have to trudge before building. The banks want detailed accurate forecasts for a mine's output, income, and costs before risking a penny. And everyone else has to do DD on everyone else's ability to stump up their share of the funds. On top of which guarantees have to me sought and found and cross-guaranteed and goverments brought on board with cast iron promises re tax etc etc .Its only 'partly' spelled out in the March 11 update. As for the smelter promises, they are only a tiny part of the whole equation and not enough to change the minds of eg BHP and Newcrest who will have been doing their own modelling and forecasting and enquiries re financing sources (They have much more experience than Solg after all). Googling 'project financing' will show how detailed is planning and executing a large - extremely long life - project like Alpala and the myriad cross-connecting legal and financial relationships involved. "And I have to tell you now" that the majors will only be negotiating behind closed and impenetrable doors - probably for an interminable time yet. As for the share price decline, it was foreseen 8 months ago by anyone reading the detailed MD and A's on Sedar which showed a desperate need for funding by 2019 year end. That's been deferred by suspending exploration, to resume which a large fund raise (beyond Alpala) is just around the corner. It won't be at higher than recent prices.

What will move the price is the unknown information(i.e. not in the public domain)

when it becomes known.

These expressions on interest and negotiations are the start of a new era for this asset rich company.
