We all know this has been undervalued for long time.
Glad we have had today's RNS .
As private investors we never know what is going on.
Hopefully there are more RN's to come.

Nr term funding

Sums it up

When you think we were at 40p with no MRE3 and no offer of funding . Makes you think that 40p was well over priced or 21p is well undervalued .

Lol, I'm going for a break will be back later on

"The high quality of the concentrates and the gold rich nature is attracting significant interest from not only traditional financiers, but from traders and smelters, pointing to a strong outcome in the generation of a near term development funding package.

With low.labour cost.you have a situation where any of these could.make a.bid anytime now, with bhp 15% stake in SolGold already, few billion is peanuts to them

Expecting more bids

"10 qualifying bids have been received with more expected once worldwide restrictions due to COVID-19 are lifted. "

I'm rather suspecting that fiat currency is going to see inflation, possibly high inflation, hence commodities are a hedge against debauched fiat paper.

Key sentence overlooked by mknight (as usual)
"Subject to favourable outcomes in development funding"
Yes, Solg (as has been known for some time) is developing a funding plan (for Alpala - not for drilling elsewhere) so
"SolGold is also pleased to have received material offers for funding in exchange for offtake" is no surprise.
But offtake agreements never provide more than about 10% of the capital cost of any mine. The bulk has to come from shareholders and, provided the returns are good enough, another proportion from bankers. Offtake agreements are merely the cornerstone for the bulk of the funding which still has to be found. Not only that, but offtake agreements are eye-wateringly expensive - one for Sirius Minerals for instance was equivalent to a bank loan charging 33% pa interest. Others I've researched are similar.
Given the known demand/supply outlook, its no surprise every single potential offtaker will 'express interest'
The fact is this news isn't much news at all as yet. There is still the nearer-term question of funding drilling elsewhere. So I can see the shares drifting back again, which isn't to say they're not attractive. Merely that the market doesn't see any need to hurry.

The other súper important consideration is what will the price of Gold and copper be when all those sites are up and running ? You may have too much supply and the price will drop . ALPALA is one of the first productions it almost guarentees massive profit .

This is why nick rejected bhp first bid and even the 15% Bhp has in solg have strings attached so they dont buy without solg consent

You can JV them .No cost just a royalty rate of 10% on everything they produce .
You cannot develop them all .

Just like Parker in Goldrush he hated paying the royalty but without the land he had no option .

I would not sell the whole company for 100 and nor will NM.

Maybe 300 which seems silly to say when we are at .21p but he knows what he has

No doubt bids will be coming in soon .

Money where my mouth is have added 340k today and have another 30k waiting at 20.25 .

mknight, yes but if you knew some of those 74 sites were actually a lot richer than Alpala, then I'd sell Alapala for 5% of todays projected value and use the money to exploit the other sites. Anyway I'm a know nothing at the mining game but NM knows it inside out, one has to trust that he will get the deal that works best.

But why would anyone sell now just as the runway lights have been switched on?

We are funded without dilution just waiting on the terms .Still no debt just depends on those terms . Will it allow us to payback everything in the first 3 years . Will it be we pay 25% of the monies over 10 years and keep 75 %

Its a contract to supply . We get all the money we need .. we have to pay it back in production .
