Smelter companies are desperate for product they are loseing money at the moment because the prices they are paid is linked in to the price of product .There are to many smelters so the timing for our mine is just right .

As something like 3 billion people across India and Africa continue to build new living spaces and power stations so the demand for copper will keep growing. It's not just cars but all those washing machines and other white goods that go into the new housing that use copper. With mines currently closed over the virus scare, quite a few will not restart with such low copper prices. Once warehouse stocks begin to noticeably decline, so then we will see better prices. I guess those smelters taking an interest in Solg will have a very good idea about how things are going to pan out over the next few years.

Mam, couldn't agree more, its laughable bhp having 15% in solg, its once in bhp lifetime to get hold of this quality assets

Yes cooper price rise is higher than the small fall in Gold prices . So if you valued everything in the ground we would be up . After the amazing Rns yesterday its strange we are struggling today .

What do you think NM will say on Tuesday?

Its only a few days since the last , i dont think he will be going over the same ground again .

Same as usual difficult to sell and buy back cheaper .

Friend is the trend and the chart is trending up .

At trades are trying to keep this down so they can buy from the 0 trades cheaper . It will work for a while but not much longer imho

Lowtrawler .. sensible we will all be here when you come back hopefully at a higher price . If yesterday Rns did something it was to take away any pressure on short term funding so this will limit the downside if there was any which i dont believe there wss.

Yesterday rns has put solg on radar of all major companies in mining, just alpha alone will produce revenue of $58.4 billion dollars, that is bloody eye watering and then you have 14 other sites better then alpha!

I'm going to ignore goings on for the next few days and look back in on Friday next week. When I can't understand events, I tend to act impulsively and I want to avoid doing that. This will take that temptation away.
