We are waiting

1 for the Franco finance

2 for some drilling results

3 for gold and copper to rise and add even more value to our worth.

Right now waiting is helping our cause whether we want a sale or to go to production.

The games being played by one or more persons/ firms will not detract from that as greed to possess these assets will out. It`s human nature. If you know something is worth X and you need it you will not stand idly by and let some other party buy it for less.

The more patient we are the more we are worth.

You mean by insider trading, pre selling?

The share price has not been above 25p post placing: it was obviously crashed by "flippers" and they cannot all get 100% out at the same time.

Quite often the brokers themselves take/have to take a surplus and then dispose of into the market over the subsequent period, balancing their supply into the market, against demand.

There is no logic in Newcrest selling, to make an offer of 40p for shares they have sold at 23p: I don't see them selling a single share.

Ultimately, the resource is good enough to attract a number of bids and so nothing is guaranteed.

They are, of course, trying dirty tricks with the PR, but selling down their stake hands the advantage to BHP. If they were selling, to maximise the impact, they would be shouting it from the roof tops.

The current situation is untenable: management cannot stay at loggerheads with major shareholders and Cornerstone have thrown down the gauntlet. Wait and see time.

The alternative theory is that it is those cheap placing shares at 21.5p being offloaded, at a decent turn and once the "flippers" have gone, this will move on up.

Occam's razor.

Lowtrawler.

I watch alot as you know .

47k more at 23.50

100 x 23.20 gets taken out and they drop the ask .

Same pattern as the last 3 days .

23.50 now back to over 100k reloaded .

If we get through the 23.50 trades the last one will reload 25k or 50k .

Another 100k at 23.20 taken out to protect the 23.50.

Mk. I think you've been watching the SOLG trades so long you are starting to see things that aren't there. I really don't think anything unusual has or is going on. The MMs are pushing and pulling to try and generate interest, that's all.

Lets see how much money they are going to throw at it by protecting 23.50 . Probably a million shares or more .

Charliee they are not shorting it Newcrest have more than enough to keep it down for a very long period if thats their plan .

Lets count ..so far 30k with 118k on the books at 21.50 . If we wipe them off they will be replaced .

Now 500k on the bid at 23p

Not sure I understand your reasoning.

Looking at stock on loan,it is quite small on Solg and so no big shorting fest with a view to getting cheap replacement stock in the next placing or crashing the market below value.

Presumably, therefore, RBC are simply offloading punters' stock (possibly instructed on a larger holding)and still have some available at 23p? Plenty of traders will be taking their profits on the recent rise from under 20p and others will still see value at this level: a normally functioning market (and looking to be in an upward trend at the moment, as would be expected, given the current copper/gold prices).

One of the really good things about Solg is that it has reasonable liquidity and an attractive spread.

From the latest presentation, there does seem to be quite a lot going on at the moment and with the metal price backdrop and potential bid situation, it makes this quite interesting.

Given the Newcrest involvement in both and the similar market caps, is it too early to make any sensible comparisons with Greatland? Being a bit lazy, does anyone have the history on Newcrest's original involvement with Greatland (it seems to have done some drilling back in the early 2000s and only got involved again recently)?

Games being played rougepierre, the offer will come with the normal offer is
57% over the last 54 days ( which we have kept the share price down as we know you are all fools and would never notice . Etc etc

Anyway its buy as many as you can and in a short period of time you will have doubled your money or more .

Newcrest bid 40p BhP then 60p and sold with the directors getting their 60p options .

Silver at $22.8 adds $625 million, but copper is at the same level as a year ago while the MCap has FALLEN $80 million...!

Yes, I was just wondering what the numbers must now look like with gold at $1900, and historically copper follows gold about 10 to 12 weeks later, so if that pertains the treasure chest just got quite a bit larger.

Gold is at $1900....!

THAT ALONE adds $1.1 BILLION to the NET value of Alpala...that's almost twice our MCap...!!!
