16/12/2018 09:31 | The NGO Rainforest Action Group have a new newsletter out and there is some interesting material in there. There is some specific mentions of $SOLG.L Solgold $SOLG $CGP #ECUADOR (though they haven't updated the SOLG specific information sheet from the winter of 2018). New mining concessions in Ecuador are going up for sale on January 2nd, 2019. (Source not quoted?) In reference to recent CONCERNS ABOUT THE COLOMBIA - ECUADOR BORDER.... "Solgold’s Cascabel project lies about 30km south of the border (only 10km from the Do Not Travel Zone) and much of the route required to transport copper from Cascabel to San Lorenzo is in the dangerous zone...." "Brisbane-based SolGold has positioned itself as the leading Australian investor in mining exploration, with over 300,000 ha in concessions, 64% of all concessions held by Australian companies, and 18% of all mining concessions sold in Ecuador (as of January 2018). SolGold's Cascabel mine in the Imbabura province of northwest Ecuador is estimated to contain an 'indicated' 8.4 million tonnes of copper metal and 19.4 million ounces of gold, with the mine mooted to be as big as Escondida in Chile. Concessions held by Hanrine Resources (owned by Gina Rinehart) and Newcrest encircle Cascabel to the south and west, with those companies hoping position will help make a play for dominance of the company. BHP doubled its stakes in SolGold in October, now owning a 11.2% stake, while Newcrest Mining holds 14.5%, making these two companies both major shareholders in SolGold." | pob69
16/12/2018 09:03 | mk yes - we were told there would be a regional update by the end of the year - not much time left now and there must be a fair bit of news to report. | zeusfurla
16/12/2018 07:03 | Regional update..last seen in JULY should be out in the next week or so . Blanca y Nieves will finiance ALPALA. Its not from me its from NM .. if you dont remember or have not seen the video just ask and i will provide it for you . So no finance needed just drill out the gold ...oh its only 30 km from ALpala. | mknight
15/12/2018 12:02 | No news has managed to shift price recently. Also hard to calculate how much good news is factored into share price already, Hence my conservative 45p. | mam fach
15/12/2018 11:00 | Should get drill results next week and Maybe the game changer..permits. | mknight
15/12/2018 10:17 | 45p at least next week. Sell @ your peril. | mam fach
15/12/2018 06:29 | Dmitri You wont filter me . I went to bed is my excuse for not having a debate with you .Not sure why you got so upset . Maybe you should buy your SOLG shares back and enjoy the rise . | mknight
14/12/2018 22:59 | As expected, none; jog on into my filter bin timewaster, you were given the chance to debate like an adult. | dmitribollokov
14/12/2018 22:36 | So why are you posting on a bb at 10.36 on a friday evening . | mknight
14/12/2018 22:30 | These are all questions one has to ask themselves before they pull the trigger. For me with the backdrop of a bearish looking US mkt, that’s a risk i’m willing to take. | dmitribollokov
14/12/2018 22:25 | The last two years NMhas produced a chritsmas presant for his shareholders That of courae does not mean it will happen this year | mknight
14/12/2018 22:14 | Dow close on the week 1.18 per cent So i was right again which is not being personal. | mknight
14/12/2018 22:09 | How much would 500k cost to buy back? Probably 38/38.50 if you dont get some good news before hand. Could be 45 Still it might fall to 35 then you could get them back at the price you sold | mknight
14/12/2018 22:03 | Here? Can’t remember exactly, shifted 500k around 36 in different tranches. Sold 80% of my whole portfolio though, this isn’t personal to solg. | dmitribollokov
14/12/2018 21:58 | Fair enough, i would call up 0.41% on an individual stock a rounding error, but down 3% in wider US mkts significant. Each to their own though; we’ll see in due course. Either way, whomsoever is proved to be right (totally going to be me btw ;-) ) let’s agree to keep it civil eh? | dmitribollokov
14/12/2018 21:54 | What price did you sell out at dimitri | mknight
14/12/2018 21:53 | We were up today i believe . | mknight
14/12/2018 21:48 | Guys, let’s keep it civil, no fingers pointed either way. Wrt individual stocks being not valued what they’re worth, there were high quality companies trading at discount to net cash positions back in the crisis. That can and probably will happen again. Wall st closing the week at an 8 month low doesn’t make me feel unhappy to have the vast majority of my powder dry. We may differ in opinions, but it doesn’t mean we can’t get on. For the record, i think SOLG is one of the best opportunities i’ve ever seen, i just hate the wider mkt atm. | dmitribollokov
14/12/2018 21:40 | Dow You are wrong again 3 out of 11 sectors are in bear market territory . Please try and get your facts right before posting . The dow by the way dropped 1 per cent this week. | mknight
14/12/2018 19:30 | Arcadian. What we have today is worth alot more than the share price today . I think what will catapult the shares will be reciept of the permits and then another major find . The 11 projects are currently valued at zero . Can you imagine the frustration NM and his team must be going through at this moment . I am sure most of the rigs will be moving out of Alpala as soon as the permits arrive . | mknight
14/12/2018 19:22 | SOLG did well to end in the blue today against a backdrop of other miners falling and worries re Chinese growth. I believe that what we have here will transend cyclical issues. | arcadian
14/12/2018 18:31 | Exactly different opinions makes a market. | mknight
14/12/2018 18:10 | Dmitri It common sense , what we are are seeing is the sheep syndrome people remember 2007 and fear is ruling their heads . We had it the other way in the dot com boom and bust . There are great companies which are way too cheap. The market will do just fine next year including Solg which is so far undervalued its funny . | mknight |
