Hi Onedb1....

How is it going?
A shame since they closed the iii format... Many shares that I was watching (As a glancing once over) have now disapaeared. I actually liked the old format and now dont even bother looking in.
In truth my share trading habits have changed quite considerably.

We always said this would come good.. And I believe we both know full well it will.

Its great you do all your technical bits...
I would never knock a man for doing that..

A friend of mine just spent a couple of thousand pounds completing a course where he places stones on your body and it removes the evil spirits... The certificate looks mighty impressive... I may give him a go later and report back how it worked... At £200 per half hour session it should work out pretty well for him... :-)

BTW... What price will SOLG finish at 4,30 tonight ???? :-) :-)

Cheers.

Disorder.

PS: The boat has been operational now for 2 months...
We did say you would try and get down on it... (And why not??)

After the weekend press I am hoping that we see the speculated interest of the big hands . It's clear that the big mining corps are very interested . Hoping not to sell mine here too cheaply

I am a technician actually , technical analysis is the term not chartist ( which is only used on bbs by retail ) I suggest you write to FINRA in the US and every single hedge fund out there and see what they tell you . You'll also note that the CFA covers part of the CMT 1 program so there you go . Read Fama / French papers on momentum as TA has been proven to outperform and have an edge . Clearly what you misrepresent is that an edge cannot last forever much like in fundamental analysts but Paul Tudor Jones seems to have done rather well with TA. As a risk man tool and market timing TA is highly recommend whereas the stuff you read on Bbs is mostly not TA 95% I would argue . Bit like criticising a French person when actually you are looking at a Chinese person. Oh and by the way I have both institutional and retail background .. you heard my view . Not trying to change yours in fact keep on thinking the way you do . But frankly speaking TA is a topic that is highly misrepresented on BBs . All the best

I would guess now that BHP are gathering their war party together that NM is going to be circling the wagons as fast as he can. He needs that MRE fast and he needs the preliminary costings asap too, if he's serious about going to production. There's enough big hitters giving this their seal of approval by buying sizeable holdings, and yet there's still almost 40% in free float, so still plenty of shares to mop up if you are a serious player.

20x25 would be £5 .
That is beyond my expectations. But I could live with it.
Monday should be another interesting day.

Well I bow to your greater knowledge. I have always tended to believe fundamentals over charts but I would love to hear your interpretation of the SOLG TA.
Cant have too much information!

hi Jerry Actually in the markets we have a thing called the small cap bias ( Fama French paper if you want to read up ) TA is proven to work . But when you say TA on bulletin boards the assumptions is just about some pattern or candlestick etc not things like factor Momentum etc . As many do not really know what TA is .

Not all gaps get filled especially breakaway ones . Read up on Bulkowkski's work on gaps . Fair enough his data was probably US based and statistical quirks can change but it's mostly area gaps that fill pretty much all the time not breakaways . I'll get his stats later if interested

Hah! :¬) I was wondering just how long it would take for someone to say something about 'filling the gap'! Perhaps this will be the exception that proves the general rule?

If next week matches this one, I will be an even happier bunny.

I don't doubt your technical knowledge and expertise. However I have always been very dubious of technical analysis on small cap and illiquid stocks and I would class SOLG as this atm. Its all ok for indices and large cap stocks where there is plenty of liquidity and, possibly, efficient markets. Smaller, illiquid markets have bigger, jumpier, random moves.
For technical analysis to work requires other similar participants and I am not sure that many players will look at a SOLG chart.
Who thinks the 21.5-24 gap going to be filled? BHP would love that!

Having said all that it looks like there is a fair headwind from 28-30p...…!!!!

Id say that level i highlighted yesterday was pivotal. I bought more this morning anticipating a meaningful break. coupled with volume this is looking good. Caution as always needed however with stocks like these.
