My Comment:

Bartolo, Provenir is interesting as I quote the world*s no 2 copper deposit ie Kamoa-Kakula of Robert Friedland fame - the high core zone had Chalcocite, never mind massive chalcoprite and massive chalcocite. See my earlier posts a few days ago. By the way, GGP*s Havieron Hole 5 Visuals said "massive sulphides. Bartolo not drilled yet.

This is the awaited result. Barry Fitzgerald said "Discovery - Game Changer" so awaiting results of Discovery Hole 1, Provenir.

No 1 is Alpala discovery with PFS to come.
No 2 is Provenir, awaiting discovery hole assays.
No 3 is Rio Amarillo akin to Alpala, drilling to start?
No 4 is Celen as that is a porphyry?

No 2 , 3 & 4 are all 100% Solgold owned.

We now have Dr Steve Garwin, one of the world*s experts in porphyry. Day 1 of Alpala, Solgold produced their modelling of 1-2Bt Copper-Gold via their Presentation [share price at start 2p placing, £8m cap] Came in correct per the various MRE*s later. Even the grade was correct at 1.4 Cu Equiv - high grade zone at Alpala [400Mt]. So, hopefully, their modelling will also be correct all the way?

There is no distressed seller, hence today, it has gone.

I saw the 33.70p go through. On the London South East, they showed the trades and it just dropped to 33.70 on 2 small trades from 35p area approx [cant see it now as buyers moved in] and jumped back up again. Strange.

Then, just a few short mins, it is now 34.65p to sell and 35p to buy. Live dummy price is 34.72 to sell and 34.9229p to buy.

JL, I haven't looked at the LSE bb in ages, but it would be normal in any market for prices to be marked down if it were known that there was a distressed seller about.

Given what is currently known and the improving prospects for Solg both in resources, and a big player now out of purdah, it does seem counter intuitive that the price is being marked down. Perhaps a good day for the bulls to fill up?

Whether distressed or not, he knows the shares aren't going anywhere for quite a long time. No need for any hopeful acquirer to do anything. Just let Solg spend its shareholders cash until there really IS something to acquire. And surprising (not) that a broker can't think of anything new to say.

entitled "Buying into the copper price through SolGold" there's nothing we didn't already know but interesting timing...

"Porvenir another copper porphry discovery looking quite exciting"

"Ecuador could turn into the next Peru/Chile in south America"

"...not sure what the plan is, could prove up and then sell on, but have BHP and Newcrest as shareholders"

"Solgold will be squeezed out one way or another hopefully through a competitive takeover process"
