Yes, but if the high street suffers in coming downturn, then 'packaging' will surely suffer also ???

The market likes the news, hence the increased volume today. Big buys!
The chart is looking very positive.
I wonder who is buying and whether they want more stock. The MM's moved the price up quickly after a small investor bought in this afternoon.

So here's hoping for a good few days/weeks and a breakout from 160p.(A little hopeful, but always an optimist).

Yesterday's big buyer(5 x 25,000) is keeping the price up despite sellers.
We will see some more buying today which will bring the price nearer 150p.

I have just spent 1/2 hour reading www.skillsgroup.co.uk . The new chairman Keith Burgess seems to have refocused the Company, the future is looking brighter and recovery seems on the way. Name change to QA Plc is planned later this year. Figures for 2001 are already well up on last year, together with cost control in place, will help the balance sheet.
We might have to wait and see if institutions increase their holdings before investing a few pounds in Skillsgroup.

From the TA perspective it needs to break the 155-156 mark which has been touched three times since August giving a definite resistance level. However rather worryingly it did seem to be forming a flat topped triangle which usually breaks North, but the recent fall has broken the trend of rising lows suggesting this triangle has failed. I would definitely want to see a couple of days close above 156 before getting back in.I should add that I do a lot of work for these people and my impression of the company is that it is fundamentally sound - I base my main source of income on them!!! This impression is, I should add, NOT based on any kind of inside information just my impression of the level of business they are doing when I am at their sites. There are very high levels of repeat business - I always hear "they may be a little pricier than the competition but we wouldn't go anywhere else".I don't hold at the moment would be keen to get back in if I see signs of a sustained recovery. However this is likely to be held back by the general TMT malady at present.V

We will see.
I bought at 135p. If it finishes the week above 145p, we might reach the 4 week high of 159p...then who knows..
