14/12/2001 11:42 | Into TWT long yesterday at 55.5 and covered today at 59. Waiting to see if old support at 60p provides resistance now. Certainly a load of sells sitting there. Anyone looking at ICI. It feels like a long to me but I'm being indecisive following big losses this week (commiserations to others in same position). | bruce8

14/12/2001 11:19 | Ruth - Maybe you need more than one computer? I get crashes but I try to keep something up and running all the time I am following the market. Also, I separate net access from local PC issues by using a local Ethernet and a router/firewall box (an old Pentium 100 running Linux - nice and cheap but does the job fine). That way I can keep the Net up even when I have to reboot the local Windows machine(s) | serratededge

14/12/2001 11:14 | Random - I think TWT should have a go at 70p where the possible new descending resistance meets the old ascending support (which may now be resistance if it has been properly breached). Then we will see if the recent drop was a Bear Trap (and the uptrend would resume past 70p in line with the Xmas spirit) or if the last go at 70p would have been Bears' Remorse (closing shorts in case it recovered) followed by an onward drop. I see 70p as a watershed. But that's just my chartreading. | serratededge
14/12/2001 11:13 | It's a tricky call, I don't try to fix prices to trade at, just follow the "feel" of the market. If it seems cheap, I'll buy it, expensive, then sell it. Not so quick on the sells recently though. Could have taken a lot of profit recently, but decided to hold. Fortunately, there still is much profit, since I got in much lower for my main holding. | random |
