08/11/2023 08:25 | That is what we want to hear from a big dividend payer. A well run company, dividend likely to be maintained in future, reduction in debt and interest payments and some add on opportunities being carefully tested and developed and no surprises. | this_is_me
08/11/2023 08:21 | The Board is proposing a final dividend of 2.75p per share (FY2022: 2.75p), taking the full period dividend to 4.15p (FY2022: 4.15p). The dividend recommendation represents the maximum permissible sum that can be paid under the distribution cap limits within our banking arrangements, | elsa7878
08/11/2023 07:43 | Totally agree..the company should be in a net cash position soon, given the strong cash flow..I wish the company will consider to increase dividend payout Hopefully the new contracts will help to the top (revenue) and bottom (earning) line...I really appreciate the excellent work of the management | hillock1
08/11/2023 07:41 | Yes, if they can keep on removing borrowings and get into credit earning 5% for me that would be an outcome to support growth rather than embark on another foolhardy business diversion... | fenners66
08/11/2023 07:36 | Solid set of numbers with no nasty surprises. Management has done well and the immediate future looks positive. The good dividends will continue and should increase substantially once the current restrictions expire. The market should like the reduction in average borrowing.Very happy to hold. | lord gnome

17/10/2023 21:38 | Bit strangely worded though. Why set a value to the contract and then imply that some of that value would accrue to the customer? Surely that would have been taken into account when negotiating the contract. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. | laughton
17/10/2023 19:53 | It should be more efficient and both parties should be able to benefit. | this_is_me
17/10/2023 18:00 | Yes, nice announcement, adds about 3% to revenue and again with visibility out to 2029. Strange wording in terms of the customer base implying that cost benefits would be passed to them rather than retained. I presume that is to do with the structure of the contracts between us and the retailers. Certainly something to enquire about at the next company presentation | makinbuks
17/10/2023 16:06 | Excellent RNS and Time to load up and fill your booty | stevensupertrader
17/10/2023 16:03 | worth not earth | stevensupertrader
17/10/2023 16:02 | London distribution earths £27m annually , so income will increase by this amount thus the benefit to Smith News Group is the Economic of scale and will improve margin going forward . | stevensupertrader
17/10/2023 09:39 | Mentions that it will save their customers money but not what sort of impact it will have on SNWS bottom line. It's a big contract and from what I can gather it means supplying News Int product to Smiths' existing customers - so additional costs shouldn't be that great (or will they). Maybe there will be some analyst's commentary later today or tomorrow. If anyone sees such, can they post link please? | laughton
17/10/2023 08:53 | We hold for the dividend so it is a nice bonus when there is something like today's RNS. | this_is_me |
