Closed mt FTSE long for 32 points (£2 per point!!!) but wasted £10 by buying rather than selling and then having to sell again. Finspreads does not seem to let you trade from an open position, so I have to remember which way I am going, shouldnt be hard but it is for me.

Yeah, shorted PSON @ 844 and it was going well - oh well, only one trade so far and today is as bad as yesterday when most went against me.

Any Chartists out there have an opinion on Diageo (DGE) ?
I regularly trade this one but I am put off by the company involved in a considerable share buy-back scheme and also tha chart seems very strong to my untrained eye

Small short PSON after mid morning rise. Stop set on BP. short at entry point.

Off out now and back for US open.

BTW I'm 30+ a day B&H man and have been for 30 years. Given up a few times and always failed to make it last. First one aged 7 and never really looked back. Full time from 13. Terrible, I know, and in the throws of giving it another go, but didn't even realise today should've been the day until reading it here.

Balthazar B - One wor dpatience When I first shortrerd KSB sisnt move for 2 months! WMG has fallen heavily already and I keep thinking there must be a short term boucne but it never happens. Talk TO MT Glass on this one it is one of his favourites.
