closed afterhours bsy long for +6,some great opportunities on afterhours last night,barc was marked down alot more than usual,it really is worth a look in,i just usually keep the computer running and pop in periodically in between household chores,etc,you dont have to sit there all night,

Morning all. Nothing open overnight, but Dow well up from the gap down start to close at a new recent high. It's all looking quite bullish over there with some higher lows pushing towards a flat top - interesting.

Will watch and see nwhat happens at open as I've got some mixed feelings. Anyone else?

Are you saying that if a share holds on a line for awhile then takes a slight down turn that it is cracking. Surely these small down turns may only be due to normal market fluctuation.

Who said the markets were rational ?

Chartwise it has strong support about 650, more at the round number of 600, and if it closes below 600, it may head to September low before a significant bounce.

Market sentiment... enronitis affecting the larger companies ?

What do you mean chart cracked. I have the impression that charting is a bit like financial astrology. It surely can only have an effect if a lot of people irrationally use the charts to invest and thus artificially alter a share price. Or am I missing something, Thanks anyway.

Couple of 50k buys in last few minutes, at over £7 a share that's serious money going into these. And £7 looks well and truly breached, let's see if it can keep above that ..... F&B.

jl202 - agree, need decisive break beyond 700 to break through ceiling of 6 month downtrend. Today's acquisition looks a good fit, and seems to have gone down well with the City. F&B.
