07/4/2021 07:28 | What a lovely quiet board.
I copied this from a post by Rivaldo - SMS one of a few to get full marks.

17/3/2021 11:00 | Cenkos update/upgrade is a great read. An inflation proofed income with a clear growth strategy, a strong balance sheet and both DCF & DDM (discounted dividend model) above 1300p per share suggesting 70%+ potential upside. I have added to my own holding this week. | crazycoops | |
17/3/2021 10:26 | Resilient results for the financial year ended 31 December 2020, which Investor's Champion latest commentary covers.
As greater reliance is placed on energy from renewable sources and the electric vehicle revolution moves up a gear, SMS looks very well placed to benefit from the rapidly changing UK market. | energeticbacker | |
18/12/2020 09:52 | Featured on Investor's Champion:
Management now consider that underlying pre-tax profit for the current year ending December 2020 will be marginally ahead of its expectations (Expectations are for £14.1m), with the forecast year-end net cash position of c.£30m. They remain confident of achieving the current 2021 consensus expectations of c£14.5m.
As always, one needs to look at the operating cash flow to gain a better idea of the real potential of SMS with a forecast net operating cash inflow of £32m in 2021 growing to £52.7m by 2022. | energeticbacker | |

30/11/2020 18:25 | Would have been a good buy at 591p. Moving ahead nicely at the moment. | bocase | |
23/11/2020 16:10 | Seems someone didn't see this as an undervalued share. 20 million pound sell at 591p?!? | inthemix | |

16/9/2020 09:33 | With net cash of £44.5m and an unutilised revolving credit facility stood of £342.3m, SMS looks in great shape.
For what it is worth, the house broker believes SMS remains substantially undervalued and has a valuation range of 1,058p to 1,176p, supported by the 16.4x net ILARR meter asset sale. That is 65% above the current price.

13/3/2020 09:37 | Hello....is there anybody out there. share price up 20% and all is quiet zzzzz.

12/3/2020 07:10 | Looks positive to me. I sold out a few years ago now but definitely one I’m looking to buy once markets stabilise. | chillpill | |
31/1/2020 19:32 | Any reason why the share price has fallen? I thought the trading update sounded ok | mhm2013 | |
26/9/2019 20:21 | Interesting statement in FCRM results - Smart meter accreditations gained and first installation contract secured for 90,000 smart meters, forecast to generate revenues of £12.0 million over a three year period - I calculate their financial planning 45,000 = £2M pa
SMS 50,000 installs = £1M pa lifetime recurring revenue.
I think FCRM maybe over estimating their future profitability. | hatfullofsky | |

When the smart meter programme is complete it’s possible that SMS could be generating free cash flow approaching £100m per annum with increasing appeal as the owner and manager of important data.…..now that’s worth paying a premium for!
We've taken an in depth look hxxps://www.investorschampion.com/channel/company-research/is-smart-metering-systems-a-smart-investment
---------------------
At 50,000 installs per month (max) Order book of 2M (3yrs) and Pipeline of 4M (6Yrs) a total of 9 years of installation giving and additional £120M of Recurring Revenue. It's going to take some time to get there. | hatfullofsky | |
25/9/2019 20:51 | 361 / Review at 330 / Stop at 315 / Target 1 - 450
Under careful monitoring
Lots of "expects to see" / "signs of expected recovery emerging"
I think they'll need to start seeing a major pick up to hit expectations.
With a 50,000 install capacity = £1m lifetime recurring revenue. FY revenue growth is quite predictable.
Wild cards - Op Cashflow good / Sale of assets | hatfullofsky | |
