20/11/2021 07:52 | "or does the way it was carried out just pay lip service to the Private Investor and benefit Institutions" (and their personal books) might be a fair interpretation. "i managed get get around 1600 shares on the primary bid - scaled back from around 2000." In which case you seem to have been lucky as someone else wrote: "Got allocated less than one quarter of PrimaryBid placing" That said, it would now seem likely to be a precursor (prerequisite? lubrication?) for the €300m debt issue just RNS'd, which may explain the rush (or need for expediency, if you prefer). | glavey
18/11/2021 15:33 | i managed get get around 1600 shares on the primary bid - scaled back from around 2000. It wasnt on primarybid for long. Maybe a day - if that. | wish i wasnt in rbs
16/11/2021 11:37 | Hi all, Did anyone manage to subscribe to the Retail Offer via Primary Bid? I already had an account with Primary so downloaded the App expecting to be able find details and subscribe, but couldn't find anything and have now been told I missed the boat. Was there really an oportunity for the Private Investor to take part? or does the way it was carried out just pay lip service to the Private Investor and benefit Institutions. I know they were going to try to raise £135m, anyone know what price the Offer was at and how much dilution those unable to take part will have suffered? | greenslug
11/11/2021 16:20 | CEO Coombs buys 760,000 more shares on 9/11/20021 and now has well over 9,000,000. | dondee
10/11/2021 14:32 | Yes Safestore a £2bn+ market cap company now topvest!...alas I never held that one but did have Hercules until it got bought out by Erinaceous. Sirius Real Estate up 4% after latest transaction; broker raises its price target for the shares Analysts at Peel Hunt revisited their spreadsheets in the wake of the latest acquisitions Shares in Germany-focused Sirius Real Estate Ltd (LSE:SRE, JSE:SRE) were up 4% after its third significant deal in a week. The £34mln acquisition of the Oberhausen Business Park followed the £245mln purchase of flexible workspace specialist BizSpace and the £38mln it paid for an office and two business parks in Frankfurt, Erfurt and Essen respectively. The BizSpace transaction, part-financed by a £137mln City fundraiser, caught the eye. “The portfolio and its platform offer the attraction of double-digit accretion on day one, as well as the opportunity to drive further growth through a combination of knowledge sharing and best practice, and operational synergies,” said Peel Hunt. Analysts at the brokerage revisited their spreadsheets. The net effect was an increase in the price target to 155p a share from 125p. The new valuation puts it a “deserved premium” to the sector at 23-times forward earnings, Peel Hunt said. “We find this very attractive for such a compelling growth story,” it added. The stock, up almost 48% in the year to date, was changing hands for 138p in early afternoon trade, up 5.4% on the day. | jeff h
09/11/2021 20:11 | Jeff - thanks for the update. Yes, Safeland had a few good spin outs - Safestore, Hercules Property and Bizspace all spring to mind. Look at Safestore now! | topvest
09/11/2021 10:00 | More growth hopefully. Such a solid and dynamic company. Happy days. | don carter
09/11/2021 09:45 | Got allocated less than one quarter of PrimaryBid placing which suggests it was significantly oversubscribed | bluntnib
08/11/2021 15:16 | Yes it is the ex Safeland demerged company topvest and a good company it was back in the day. At the time it would buy a property and reconfigure its layout/unit sizes to increase the overall rent payable. Can also recall them buying a property and realising that it had fishing rights attached to it which they proceeded to sell off. I was sorry to see it bought by Highcross in 2006 though thankful for the financial gain from holding it. Sirius seemingly looking to replicate their successful German model in the UK. | jeff h
08/11/2021 12:23 | Didn't realise that Bizspace was still going. Wasn't this the Larry Lipman Safeland spin out vehicle of 20 years ago? I used to hold. | topvest
