Latest nav was 63.4 cents, so I make that around 55.5 at current exchange rate. Good opportunity to buy at par.

Just bought a few at 55.4p; actually showing as sell, as the spread is so tight.
I think NAV was about 58p,last time it was announced, and it was trading at a large premium.
They usually fall to a discount ,maybe because Old Mutual and other institutions are unloading prior to the year end.
Reasonable divi, and worth checking out, as its growth in the NAV,that always been attractive'
All the best, Steve

Thanks BPS, but it is still a sell from a well known fund manager, perhaps they think the share price is still high?

compnews : I saw the old mutual sell and director - but they are just profit taking.
They still own lots of shares. Look at the chart and NAV is below share price
The market knows that NAV will increase this year,so the price will follow suit in time

Director sellling, now Old Mutual reduced its stock in SRE. Old Mutual funds have performed excellent in UK and globally. Is something they know that we don't?

SRE tick up also coincided with the Eurozone recovery and then the Brexit vote, both for logical reasons. I tend to agree that one wouldn't want to much over book, but that bv per share has also been creeping up nicely.

Skyship?

I think PCA is over looked ,because it trades properties outside London, and is on AIM.
SRE shares only began to tick up,when it announced transfer to the main market

Maybe the discount at PCA is more down to management..ask Skyship :)

Maybe its because the shares have been trading at a large premium to Nav for some time.
The NAV was showing 64 cents, at the half year report,or about 10% less,or 58p in sterling. Yes, the company is growing, but its still trading at a 5% premium to assets.
Companies like PCA,in comparison, are trading at huge discounts to assets

None at all. History shows that Andrew Coombs makes frequent buys and sells. I think someone misread the receipt of the scrip shares at the script price and sold, and others followed. I don't have any evidence for that though, pure speculation on my part.

Any thoughts on why this has dropped so much on just a small amount of Directors sells?

Don't know. I just took the opportunity to add at a tadge below the scrip price. L2 is broken on my IG display - says 53-54. This price move seems to happen once in a while. Possibly a misreading of the RNS? Andrew Coombs makes a lot of buys and sells so it looks like noise to me rather than signal.
