Cheers Dr....I have no shares in AET...just interested why they're doing well while we, who are in a similar situation are NOT doing well at all?.....Still, the last Accounts issued stated we have cash flow until the end of Dec 2024...that's five weeks left.

No. He shelled out just over £100k, buying 250k shares in AET last week to take his total shareholding to 16m..

Denis O'Brien: held 6.96% of the company - ie: 15,750,000 ordinary shares as of July 2024. To increase his shareholding to 7.07% of Afentra means he's acquired an additional 250,000 shares, thereby triggering a 7% threshold notification.

AET, with big cash flow, may possibly be interested in some kind of tie-up with Tende.

Why is Russian calling this "A new phase in the war". Setting aside that I thought it was an 'SMO' - not a war, haven't Russia declared that Crimea is sovereign Russian territory? Storm shadows were used to destroy the Naval HQ there - so what's the difference today?

McMurtrie is in for Tende Company farm-out and asset farm-out. In talks with cash-rich Afentra perhaps? Pre-merger total news blackout? Don't rule out EIG/Brookfield either. DP World, Dangote and Petropolymer all look to be in the trading mix. Dubai is where it is happening and they sure don't want us to know what is going on.

Btw ...
Asset farm-out is obvious, presumably giving up a working interest in an oil field such as Cosmos.
Company farm-out refers to a partial sale of the Company itself or its subsidiaries. Either way, big cash is coming in.

I must have posted this a dozen timed now...

'They requested that an additional increase of $35m to the deal be taken out of future cash flows, ie accruals.'........Why on earth did they 'waste' a deposit of $18.5 m....Why not just ring up the Angolan Government and say 'we're a 'something for nothing' company, that's our speciality...'give us blocks 18.31 and 27 and we'll pay you out of the accruals?.

ps. Tende to the Angolan Government....ps 'it's been years since we've heard from you?

The point I'm trying to make is that the total amount of $370.5m MUST be paid up front before consideration is given to access to accruals......We've had no evidence of this payment.
