I suspect the Bod will seek to pacify the shareholders within the few days or so, probably with a message to say Nigeria is progressing, Tunisia will move ahead sometime, and Angola is out of our hands. So we'll update you again just before the next AGM.And so it continues to go around and around and around....

Bron, regarding class action I agree it can be done, and it is done quite a lot. But this is not entirely straightforward.

First it requires a willingness on the part of a substantial number of shareholders to work together, and for each to be prepared to make a considerable contribution towards the costs. I wonder what are the chances of that being achieved?

Second, we need to be assured that we have a strong case with a good chance of winning. I appreciate that we all have serious grievances regarding the behaviour of the BoD in particular lack of transparency, poor communication and misleading communication with shareholders, but I really don't know if that amounts to a strong legal case.

O/T

This is what happens when you don't keep your word and produce the goods..

The seemingly bottomless pit of funding ran out...the promises made failed to materialise, however, not all is lost...The funders have agreed to one more extension...but at a price,... being......the current management must go.

'..As announced by H&W, the increase in debt facilities will be accompanied by a change in personnel of H&W's senior management and the insertion of new non-executive directors.

Watch this space.

The lack of response to the PigM email suggests to me that an official 3-jurisdiction update is on the way, including an indirect ref to Saudi Aramco. The work in Dubai remains secretive despite being the hub of funding activity

Tradoil there is a class action against the board of directors at canadian overseas petroleum. The lawyer bringing the case is called michael Cotter so it can be done.Omega had to bring a court case to get tende to respond and this resulted in an out of court settlement.

In my view accountability is difficult to achieve. Probably the only way would be class action, which would be expensive, difficult to organise, and would not have a quick outcome. And I wouldn't expect any support from the FCA.

I have come to the conclusion they are a bunch of rank amateurs with zero manners and an over inflated opinion of themselves . They have now raised my ire and personally I am going to continue my campaign until I get a response or they are held to account .

Thanks Tradoil...ignoring shareholder communication seems very strange and why i lean towards the board not being in control .Failing that they may have some transformational news near term and feel they can put up with the flack with news so close...I agree it is not only frustrating but has switched to anger now.whatever transpires it has been the worst investing experience for many.Disgraceful

A follow upMessrs Pryde/ KutiI am still waiting for the courtesy of an answer here . What is the point of an IR email if the IR company / team ignore it ? Particularly as your own website talks about your clear desire to respect your shareholders. Having worked in International Equities at MD level in a 30 year career your actions are beneath both yourselves and the standards one expects of a BOD with your resumes .Sort yourselves out and communicate.

Sher1ock's probably in the same boat that I am....recommending this company to all my friends, relations, every man and his dog as the best thing since sliced bread....now being hounded to death...with 'Where's our money".

Wishful thinking is that ETU wanted galp to be concluded first

Doc, I don't believe that it is Tende who are working on the Angolan deal. I think it's been made clear that ETU are in the lead, and that it's ETU who re dealing with the Angolan authorities. Whatever is causing the holdup it must surely lie between ETU and the Angolan authorities?

Of course that doesn't excuse our lot for the radio silence!

On Weds, ETU completed its $443m takeover of Galp stakes in Blocks 14 and 32.

"Edson R. Dos Santos, Etu EnergiasĀ“s Chairman and CEO, who extended his deep appreciation for the support and role of PAC Capital’s in the deal: “PAC Capital’s expertise and dedication were instrumental in securing this acquisition. Their skilful strategic fund arrangement ensured the successful closure of this complex transaction"

Perhaps he could`ve gone on to say it was a pleasure working with a professional outfit when other deals were stuck in the hands of a bunch of incompetent amateur cowboy charlatans who couldn`t run a bath never mind a business.

Here we are, 28 months down the line and not a word other than a vague ref to conditions unspecified.
