I may be wrong about this, but I seem to recall seeing somewhere that foreign shareholders don't have to disclose their shareholdings in UK companies.

Could be talking rubbish, though.

ps
Mind you, as the list of major shareholders is mainly just a list of nominee holding companies, it tells you bog all about who the ultimate beneficial holder is anyway.

From the 2018 report

Barclays Direct Investing Nominees Limited 303,903,863 8.24%
The Bank of New York (Nominees) 279,228,732 7.57%
Vidacos Nominees Limited 264,720,040 7.18%
Hargreaves Lansdown (Nominees) Limited 240,736,545 6.53%
Interactive Investor Services Nominees Limited 216,927,468 5.88%
Jim Nominees Limited 168,874,602 4.58%
Spreadex Limited 119,835,070 3.25%

re accounts and no list of major shareholders.
I note the 2018 accounts gave the list of major shareholders, up to the 1st August 2019, ie the last 'first of the month' that SRSP were a listed company.

I don't know for sure, but that would tend to suggest that even though SRSP remain a plc, the reporting requirements for being a listed PLC and on AIM are different from being an unlisted PLC (JPJ facility does not count in this respect)

Having just checked another AIM company AR, there was no list of major shareholders in that, so perhaps there is no requirement to list major shareholders in the AR full stop.

Bron, personal view is that...if they release the list of the current Major Shareholders it would give too much information away that the company doesn't want released at the moment ….as things stand at the moment ' Wonga, with 133m shares would be a Major Share holder.....but I've no doubt that new share holders, as a result of fund backing, will become evident and give the game away.

I can't say for sure, but I think it's fairly safe to say that Ororo probably wouldn't have been on fire.

related item..

I noticed in an rns today that the LOG administrators have increased their holding in 'Independent Oil and Gas' whom they funded. LOG, if you remember, had signed up to finance the Ororo start-up drill and would have become a major srsp shareholder into the bargain, but pulled the plug at the last moment. I wonder if they'll regret that decision?.

That's the indicative bid price, best guide is what share price any trades go through at, so last trades were 1.1pAll depends if anyone wants to sell around 1p as to if our bidder gets his 1p.All a bit of a sideshow to the main event, but mildly encouraging all the same

Proposed transformational transaction with a Nigerian O&G Company.

Great news, except I recall a number of similar statements during the last 11 years, all of which were conditional and merely turned out to be wishful-thinking exercises. Again we wait, dependent on procuring funding. Hopefully the difference this time is that with Deal 1 in the bag, the Tunisian asset acquisition serves as collateral for rbl.

3 discoveries on the Block. One field in production since the late 70s. Hmmm ...

1.1p is a good start for a return here let's hope its much more on relist and with minimal dilution, wasn't it said they wanted to avoid further dilution and I'm sure I was told by JB funding had been sorted.

Submitting votes for the AGM:

In case anyone's interested, I use Barclays Smart Investor, and they tell me that if I phone them to tell them how I wish to vote, they will put that forward on my behalf.

Other brokers may do things differently!

JPJ takes a fee for each matched bargain. There is effectively no mid-price as such, just a tiny buy/sell spread.
