23/10/2018 20:15 | Nothing official to say that COSL are no longer part of the consortium. RNS simply states that they won`t be spudding the first well. | dr rosso
23/10/2018 16:43 | "there are very sound reasons for that" Can you please tell us what they are Astral? | bumhammer
23/10/2018 13:47 | investors are a fickle lot, imo, and it would be no surprise at the first sign of action that folks are falling over themselves to buy in at what I hope will be a greater share price than the current one. It's always the trickiest thing to buy in when interest is low. Add in the track record is not exactly stellar, so the current situation is not really too surprising. The COSL fiasco was unfortunate, to say the least, but there we go ,it's in the past and we move forwards. Never say never, but I don't expect COSL to make any sort of re-appearance, there are very sound reasons for that! | astralvision
23/10/2018 13:15 | Hope your right Bum. Have nearly given up. | swiz73
23/10/2018 13:12 | This time it's different | bumhammer
23/10/2018 12:38 | To be fair Bumhammer.....we've all been thinking that for a bloody long time now. Yet here we are, still waiting any form of progress. | swiz73
23/10/2018 12:20 | Well obviously when this spuds it will get exciting problem is will it ever happen, i wish they'd hurry up another year down the pan and still nothing happening other than more promises, will they deliver this time that's the question. | aventador
23/10/2018 12:12 | I can just visualise a VERY excited bummhammer | qprallan
23/10/2018 12:02 | I have a feeling that once we spud Ororo, this will get VERY, VERY, VERY exciting.. Just saying.. | bumhammer
23/10/2018 11:45 | "The rig is currently undergoing upgrades"...LOL Again, the timing fits perfectly. Expect Adriatic to spud Ororo between mid-Dec and early Jan. The Trident rig contract is due to commence Q1, 2019. Two rigs for multiple wells. Is it possible that Sirius is acting for Mike Adenuga and Aliko Dangote, the two heavyweights of West Africa? Indigenous Companies such as Conoil, Amni, and Dangote`s would surely want in on a listing in order to expand their ops. | dr rosso
23/10/2018 08:13 | ...DrR, but "The rig is currently undergoing upgrades"...LOL | billyrayvalentine
23/10/2018 06:32 | HYYPS://splash247.co Could this be the incoming partner? Sirius use Shelf`s Adriatic to get things started, 2 months for O2 and O3. Then hand over to Amni. Total 14 months fits perfectly with Rockflow cpr timings. Amni going for rto backdoor listing or simply taking a stake in the OML 95 asset? Alternatively could just be for Amni`s own oil/gas field Okoro/Setu/Ima | dr rosso
22/10/2018 19:47 | 6cer, don't even try to do it, you'll look stupid, do not pursue it.. | bumhammer
22/10/2018 18:50 | @srsp the truth will set you free so come on. Unless you killed someone | bleemster
22/10/2018 18:34 | 6cer maybe you should terminate bumhammer and the other guy | xerot
22/10/2018 17:30 | Dr Rosso I do the same as you do but with women and bumhammer does the same but with his rent boys. | 6cer
22/10/2018 16:42 | Mode of operation seems to be to sign a contract, then set off in search of someone who`ll offer better terms, then terminate the previous one. Ad infinitum. Poor business ethic. | dr rosso
22/10/2018 14:50 | If thats the case Rosso, we could be in a better position to renegotiate with the Chinese and in essence remove our balls from the vice they were in. Us saying we have another rig puts us in the driving seat IMO | bleemster
22/10/2018 13:15 | A bit of research on COSL drilling rigs shows that these expensive units are put to work on longish term contracts, with high status partners, on big fields pulling out in excess of 100k bopd. One suspects that Force will be brought in at a later stage in connection with an extensive W. Africa offshore drilling campaign. Adriatic, at lower rates, meanwhile is perfectly well equipped to commence the first part of the operation, namely Ororo. We`ve heard it several times, "get Ororo flowing and everything else will follow". | dr rosso
22/10/2018 09:05 | Dr Rosso not out of his pit yet ? | 6cer |
