I know bud me too. :-( I got NO enjoyment hearing that or passing the message on. And from what I hear a couple other forum guys have had the same news as I did. I guess we will see but we're already 2 weeks down on that date! If 6 more do pass the board can't really say they didn't know that there was going to be continued delays can they unless we got lucky as hell on a two month delay as a "guess" just happened to match. Maybe the delay is true and they are pushing it back for a different aspect, maybe a sale? Etc.

@bleemster: I was kinda hoping that the 2 months further delay would count from the end of June, rather than from the date that you were told about it?

Yes it was my post. I was told from a little birdy in Dubai, that they have had a two month postponement which I heard on the 25th July so that's statement tells me I would be looking at the 25th sept. He might be completely wrong, who knows?... oh And then I got slammed on here for it. Cheers lads :)

I believe that there was a statement at the AGM on 14th June (I think by Bobo) that the recertification was in the second week of a four month process. That would take them to the end of June. Then subsequently bleemster said he believed that there was a 2 month delay. Presumably this meant a two month delay from the previous anticipated completion date of end of June, so that would take us to the end of August.

Now we are almost half way through August, so about a couple of weeks to go. At the moment some of us are hopeful that the rig will be loaded on to the Zhi Yuan Kou perhaps next week, if the rig is ready by then. If it is the case that she won't be ready until the end of this month, then I would expect the Zhi to wait for her.

So if we assume that the rig leaves Dubai about the end of this month, then 3 to 4 weeks in transit, then say 2 weeks to get on to location ready to drill, then say two weeks to drill and produce first oil; That would take us to the latter half of October / early November for first oil.

Not actually still within summer, but there's no summer in Nigeria anyway, so no big deal!

But of course, all IMHO!

Been that many delays here am unsure what we are actually delayed on anymore! Bobos podcast March 2017 claiming to still being on track for drilling in h1 would be a great place to start when looking into these frauds!

A 2 month delay on the summer drill which was delayed by six months from the April drill which was delayed a month from the March drill which was delayed 9months from the h1 2017 drill which was delayed a year from the q1 2016 drill etc etc! You get the theme here!

Someone said about the 2 month delay on here, what timescale would we be looking at if we say mid September is classed as end of summer, November December drill..Surely though we will see further updates in due course.

ps....just to get back to the Oilex Ltd situation, their application to the Government to ratify their JOA status resulted in an 100% spike today......we never got one of those.
