Maybe it is the rig. Something is going on, must be RNS due after yesterday. Spread still low and still able to sell xM of shares. Either way, this has been jumping from 0.83 to 0.95 virtually every month this year. Due a rise from 0.7

ps There may have been a bit more to the Buhari London vist than meets the eye....as Britain's increased reliance on Russian gas is becoming a politically sensitive issue.

good point bleemster ive always said this is a flip of a coin lottery here regardless to all the endless researth some folk have put into this we are all backing blind as this shower give nothing away. as dr rosso has pointed out this lot have no proper oil and gas high class pedigree, for starters what was bobo doing 6-8 years ago??? and as for some of the others its no cv boast to have the name afren stuck on it!!! get some news out!!!

Scum in the sense of lining their own pockets. Enormous gains to be had. Among the big volume yest was a 6m rollover. Somebody very keen to keep 40 grand invested. Highly likely a semi itk. Suspicious trading pattern with sells quickly being gobbled up. Meanwhile the common pi gets to stay in the dark, with influences to sell. And MMs taking 8m a throw. So I defo wouldn`t rule out a positive update within the next 4 days, esp with Havoc`s 100m due to expire on Friday.

You emailed who Elliotset? No point in contacting the company or their advisors it’s always the same waiting game with no substance. Everyone is waiting on the rig after the company’s pathetic story of swapping for a hot rig that was in fact cold and then mysteriously needs recertifying. The company led the shareholders down that path of expectation so no excuses acceptable now as the whole story does not stack up. Without imminent clarity on everything being provided we should have no option but to take action instead of letting another AIM company use the exchange to obtain cash from naive investors.

I’ve always thought that was very plausible too Doc but reality is they don’t have any assets of note and what they claim to have appears very suspect now especially in Nigerian. No confirmed funding to develop them either. It’s always been “in discussions” or we “hope” to have oil by X season or H1 etc. The rig debacle tops it all off. It’s highly unlikely they will be surprising us as it’s been lie after lie via RNSs and podcasts and no way COSL would let a rig just sit there for so long. Don’t be surprised if there is more annoying news to drop the share price further and no news on rig. They need to surprise us positively and fast otherwise an investigation is needed into all the millions that have been spent and what appears to be blatant lies to investors particularly those buying in on recent placings when credibility was already at an all time low.
