03/5/2018 11:42 | 8 plus years of waiting and delays what's another couple of months as long as they don't create some other delay which wouldn't surprise me with this lot. Will be a bit embarrassing for them at the AGM this year if yet again they've failed to meet another load of targets I'm sure investors won't be so placid again this time around. | ![]() aventador
03/5/2018 11:37 | Dr....are you now saying COSL are diverting rigs from the Egina field? | ![]() htrocka2
03/5/2018 11:33 | One thing I am certain of, every member of the consortium and Advisory Group will be fully aware and up to date with what's going on and why. It's only us mushrooms who don't get told. And I don't believe for a minute that SRSP are "awaiting" any info from COSL, which sort of implies that COSL are the ones holding things up but haven't told SRSP why or when. That is just absolutely not credible!! | ![]() vatnabrekk
03/5/2018 11:29 | What we are seeing (or rather not seeing) atm is COSL extending its Nigerian offshore activities from deepwater 130 (Akpo/Egina) into a Phase 2 twin-block (95/241)shallow water campaign with the aid of a string of illustrious partners. The task of Sirius was given by Ondo State to procure the necessary innovative funding and bring together the elements providing technical expertise to deliver what is known rather deceptively as the Ororo Project, Ororo being the hub of first operations. Whether Agent Sirius will be retained, or bought off to acquire a new pipeline of waiting farm-in opps, is very much open to question. It does indeed look like COSL/CNOOC is now running the show. | ![]() dr rosso

03/5/2018 11:18 | Hey, whilst I've been pointlessly speculating someone's been buying our shares.Well, whaddya' know | ![]() astralvision
03/5/2018 11:16 | Don't worry about warrants , options or any of that stuff. That one is easy to solve, just change the dates, pricing, whatever, happens all the time.Bumhammer, of course I'm connected to the company, I own shares in the damn thing!Oh gawd, you're not going to go over that old ground, are you?FFS. | ![]() astralvision
03/5/2018 11:10 | Pointless speculating too much, so I will indulge in some pointless speculation. These rigs seem to be obeying Heisenberg's uncertainty principle. Actually I'm not sure what that is, is it something can't be at two places at the same time? Tell that to those RigZone and Infield sites! Here's the state of play as I see it:So with Force, it's either stuck in UAE, where it would seem it's been for a while, or a hlv slipped into UAE under a 'cloaking device' and rustled the Force on board and its winging its way towards Nigeria. Seems unlikely but never say never.Or could we be changing horses yet again? There seems to be suitable COSL rigs ready stacked in Malaysia and the sea journey times ain't much more if anything compared to UAE. One thing Malaysia/Singapore does have is hlv, they've got loads of them there ( ok, around 4 or 5) so if that was the problem it ain't a problem over there.Or perhaps it's just all as mundane as we're waiting for the next large bus (read hlv) from UAE to take our fair lady (Force) to the promised land. Maybe the COSL boys just like to keep it in the family and only like certain buses, in which case we're waiting for a COSCO bus. There's a few rattling around but they seem to like to tease, show a leg and then scarper off somewhere else.If you want be to bottom line that lot , 'I haven't a clue' seems most appropriate.I did say at the start of the post it was pointless speculation.....Asse | ![]() astralvision

03/5/2018 11:00 | Project Delivery Assurance Services (PDAS) is a project delivery consultancy company based in Singapore that specialise within mega projects throughout the oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical and mining sectors. Sirius continues to hide a challenging LPG/CNG project behind 24mmb of Ororo oil. Value is substantially more than the current £30m mcap. Quite likely 10x that figure once in mature operation. | ![]() dr rosso
03/5/2018 10:44 | Well fellas another little wait isn't gonna kill anyone some of you have been here 10 years, some much much less time than that. Keep an eye on the rest of your porty's in the mean time until SRSP confirm completion of mob and spud date as per Tuesday's RNS. Personally I've held these just over 1 year expecting spud last July like the rest of the folks here. I'd be quite happy with 2p+ or 150% gain, the first of the pipeline should take care of that, or perhaps even the results from 0-2, let alone 0-3. So quite content to make money elsewhere in the mean time. However this little delay has allowed for some more cheap bed and isa. Regards, Ed. | edgein
03/5/2018 10:19 | On the face of it not an auspicious start to SRSP's operational relationship with COSL.One would hope there's a few penalty clauses in there for 'no show' within a certain time frame as delays cost money. | ![]() astralvision
03/5/2018 09:59 | Whilst it would be nice to think Cosl Force had already left UAE and was close to Nigeria, I’m more persuaded by the vigilant rig/hlv spotters who say it’s simply not moved. | ![]() sherl0ck
03/5/2018 09:36 | 1alfi, why do you believe it to be close to Nigeria if you dont mind me asking? You know someone who works for Schlum or COSL? | bumhammer
03/5/2018 09:27 | Aventador nobody as yet has given any clear and precise evidence regarding the location of the rig. I believe it to be close to Nigeria if not actually in Nigerian waters. Time will tell, but as it stands for me at this time, spud before month end. | ![]() 1alfi
03/5/2018 09:23 | JKX - Has been over 500p... Currently in 30p range.. Almost 10,000 boepd 40m mkt cap Low cost drilling to increase production Cash flow positive Ukranie now one of the best places in the world to drill based on new regulations Shares rerating after a very poor few years, now at 52 week high Very little free float avaliable. Circa 80% held by institutions. Rerate to 50p area now in progress. Rumours on LSE that "finch" are buying in. Up 3% already today. | jkx_rerate_is_on
03/5/2018 09:19 | End of the month?? Maybe if they had rns'd it had arrived this week which they didn't. If the rig hasn't left as far as we know and it's 4 weeks to get to nigeria roughly and that's once it's left no telling how long that could be plus set up when it arrives so easily could be another 2 months at best Spud in june/ july imho and that's without any more nasty delays. | ![]() aventador
03/5/2018 09:14 | My money (literally) is on this well being spudded before the end of the month. | ![]() 1alfi |
