11/12/2017 09:07 | Another near on 5m buy still no movement though. | aventador
10/12/2017 11:44 | Deadly...7 years ago I only had 12 thousand shares. Cashwise, my largest purchase was later when I saw the rns below, however, sharewise the majority were purchased below 1p because of a couple of articles I read that had nothing to do with the company but how Frank Timmis ,AIM, CEO, was awarded a record penalty on the AIM for misleading shareholders......so I re-read the article below, took it as gospel...and dived into the deep end. (I'll admit.. I missed the 0.25p low.) There was nothing in following rns's that stated amendments to the above except that from there on in everything was 'smoke screened' with the term 'pipeline of assets' | htrocka2
10/12/2017 11:33 | I don't think 7 years ago the conditions were right to form the sort of consortium SRSP have put together, imo.Whatever, the future is the only thing that matters now and the future looks very bright. The events of the last 12 months have put SRSP on a lot of folks radar. They have managed to put something together which is most unusual in the usual 'small cap oiler' field. This may currently be a 'small cap oiler' but is set up to be something else, a large scale operation utilising SRSP's indigenous contacts and leveraging world class names into something that has all the hallmarks of a stock market block buster. News will send this higher, the next few weeks, for starters, should prove interesting. Interested watchers have their finger twitching above the 'buy' button, it ain't going to take much to get the ball rolling.Enjoy the ride. | astralvision
10/12/2017 11:03 | hopefully we will be different ht, just a pity this was not 7 year ago share price would probably have been sitting at 50p on the consortium we have lined up | deadly nightshade
10/12/2017 10:01 | ref 'deadly...' '....the last few oilers i have seen with rig departure news done very little for share price...' With BP, Owena Oil and Gas (Ondo State), COSL, ADD Energy, Schlumberger, etc, all waiting for rig movement authorisation, I'd hardly rate SRSP as an ordinary, run of the mill 'oiler'. | htrocka2
09/12/2017 19:20 | might be worth looking at the website of turner pope investments these are the company that hosted the investors evening the other night, interesting company by the look of it | deadly nightshade
09/12/2017 18:45 | Better put some reinforcing into my Christmas stocking then! | vatnabrekk
09/12/2017 18:25 | sign of good confidence the bod are mentioning other assets when you would think getting ororo into production would be a big thing on its own after all these years. be lovely to see a xmas stocking full of assets coming on line | deadly nightshade
09/12/2017 18:02 | Funny old game this aim business | 1sonic
09/12/2017 17:00 | That had to be filled before we move up,now it's complete we can move . | eye2
09/12/2017 15:52 | Nigeria touting for Chinese involvement ! | qprallan
09/12/2017 13:16 | i dont think we will see a big rise on rig departure news alone. what the market wants to see these days is production which equals a profit. the last few oilers i have seen with rig departure news done very little for share price. gone are the days when oil stocks multi bagged on a sniff of possible oil discovery. i hope by having havoc's taylor and stein on board they have learnt by the big mistakes ophir made where it has taken years to get to fid position and even now its still on going with finance issues for them. i am hoping here that we are doing things in a reverse sort of way in the sense that we have a oil/gas discovery and now the production infrastruture and off take facilitys in place to get ororo flowing as soon as we hopefully hit oil. also if we have other assets lined up they need to be very near term production assets ready to turn a profit asap. no point in owning big oil fields these days if they are not turning a profit, just ask PVROVIDENCE RESOURCES, OPHIR, ROCKHOPPER , XCITE ETC. the new breed of oil/gas producers need to be nimble and lean | deadly nightshade
09/12/2017 10:45 | Assuming we get approval for everything at the GM on 18th, should we expect to see an increase in the share price at that point, or is that likely to have to wait until we get definite news of the rig en-route? It's probably all down to market confidence. | vatnabrekk
09/12/2017 10:38 | While we might all, with a degree of justification, bemoan the 5 years of wait the "market distrust" has very much played into the long term holders favour. We have had a run of excellent RNSs, we have a line to adequate funding, we are about to become a production company, and we can still fill our boots at less than the recent placees paid. As Mr 11.6 M demonstrated yesterday. Ht, you are correct in that once the wider market see in black and white that we really are capable of organising this project we will see a rerate. | drrichard
09/12/2017 08:42 | 'The market simply doesn't trust them to deliver. After 5 years of false dawns, it still transpires that the rig has not moved. Saying that they are going to do this, that and the other meets with the usual scepticism. Once that rig moves...' Normally a company would inform it's shareholders when a rig was about to drill, intended depth and estimated time to TD....however, in SRSPs case, in view of their chequered past with regards to failed promised drill dates etc, etc...an rns would be warranted as soon as the rig move has been acknowledged and on its way to the site.(that's got to be worth +0.5p to the sp) | htrocka3
08/12/2017 22:47 | Gotta agree Deadly. Looking good. Roll on a week on Monday. | drrichard
08/12/2017 22:45 | If the rig is to be on site around March (I think that's what Bobo said) then we ought to have news of it moving from wherever it is stacked around the beginning of February. Maybe even slightly earlier. | vatnabrekk
08/12/2017 22:38 | everything now finally in place no excuses now. rig news has got to come soon after AGM for it to fit in with march timeframe. news rich period should be coming up. GM / AGM will be interesting shareholders will be able to get the feel of what is about to happen here and question bod and clarify timeframes regarding rig etc | deadly nightshade
08/12/2017 22:00 | The market simply doesn't trust them to deliver. After 5 years of false dawns, it still transpires that the rig has not moved. Saying that they are going to do this, that and the other meets with the usual scepticism. Once that rig moves, the doubters will start to believe something is really happening at long last. What the market really wants to see however is well test data proving up the reserves, oil flowing, followed by funding commitment, followed by confirmed stakes in bigger assets. | dr rosso
08/12/2017 19:49 | £130k trade and the share price closes flat?Solid buying almost all day (shown as sells ofc)Just like days of old... | minichris
08/12/2017 18:47 | vipste the fact when this relisted that it come back lower then 1p was not really a massive surprise if you factor in the percentage dilution of the extra shares then we were lucky that it only dropped to approx 0.92. any positive news flow from now on ( rig news or further assets )should see this only going one way. it will be interesting to see if we see a spike in the share price at some point how many shares are sold that will give us a indicator as to where this might be heading. we have got 2 meetings coming up then we should have rig deployment news very very soon after. | deadly nightshade
08/12/2017 18:18 | So, the 1 trades followed by the huge buy showing after hours (surprise) and as unknown on some sites. You obvs wouldn't be offered 0.975 to sell so with the possible mm signal and chunky late buy is there more news around the corner?....additiona | vipste
08/12/2017 18:13 | Nice trade! Last chance to load up sub 1p, door is closing soon. | astralvision
08/12/2017 17:30 | Blimey, Cornish, that is a nice buy, and at just under a penny, he must be very happy indeed. And, I hope, well informed. | drrichard |
