If there was any news due with anything of any substance the share price would not be were it is. All you will get is silence. What's to stop this share free falling to zero. They have no income, apart from the cap in hand to the shareholders but even that is wearing thin now.

Trusting that what is RNS'd is happening and hopefully more good news behind the scenes, then I would say it is a combination of the charts, no news and the general
election that is being used to take the shares down at the moment.. shame topped
up around the 1p mark.

This slide won't stop until there is any buying pressure. That is unlikely to happen until the board are ready to release any significant news. I just hope Sherlock is correct in that the final details and the master plan are not yet ready to be released for sensitive commercial reasons. Painful viewing though it is the share price is largely irrelevant at the moment unless people want to top up. The board remain very positive yet tight lipped regarding progress. Another day closer... keep the faith.

No Openfield your friend was indeed correct.... to a point. I found another article that highlighted the historical tax dispute issues in the 70's, which were both protracted and escalated to a prime ministerial level. This appears to have left a bad taste and a decision to not touch Nigeria (their initial JV partner Shell remained and has flourished there). However I guess a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then.

Good find Sherlock. My information is obviously wrong with regard to BP not working in the area. Let's hope that I am truly proved wrong and BP are involved with Sirius. As said I have been informed otherwise and nothing I have seen so far seen suggests BP are involved - it is merely guesswork and speculation that gives investors, like myself, false hope. When Sirius release a press statement like the one you have found we will all be happy.

They are getting on with it 1sonic, just not publicly yet.

As I mentioned before, I'm currently working with a tech start-up that's backed by a Dubai-based $multi-billionaire and a former FTSE100 CEO. They have a vision to completely disrupt their market and really hurt long-established competitors, yet they have no website and you won't find anything in the public domain - simply because they're currently operating in stealth mode and don't wish to publicise what they've been up to until they're ready to pounce. After which time it will probably then be too late for their competitors to effectively copy their unique business model in a timely manner.

I do wonder if there are some parallels here.

Regardless of the veracity or not of any supposed 'leaks', I just found the following link which might provide a useful counterbalance to the earlier post:
