02/6/2017 19:11 | should that be £4m or £4bn? can't see BP bothering with a £4m package, that's just expenses for the CE at that level | astralvision
02/6/2017 19:03 | I'm hoping some of us LTH will get a 'free petrol for a year' bonus package from participating BP garages? | bumhammer
02/6/2017 18:51 | BP in advanced talks to fund Nigerian oil producer - sources Friday, 2 June 2017, 5:39 pm Here is an interesting snippet about a rather large oil company backing an AIM-listed tiddler. City sources have told little old Betaville that BP is in advanced negotiations to provide Sirius Petroleum with a debt financing package that should enable the business to to fund the drilling prgramme for the Ororo oil field offshore Nigeria and also look at other assets. Word is BP is close to signing an agreement with Sirius that would see the FTSE 100 giant provide a £4 million debt package. I don't have much more detail than that but Betaville understands an announcement about the financing deal is expected in the next few weeks, so keep an eye on the UK regulatory news service... Sirius Petroleum declined to comment and Betaville is still waiting to hear back from BP. Tags: BP, Sirius Petroleum | primroselil

02/6/2017 18:06 | and another, hat-trick! 'As part of Sirius' shallow offshore development strategy in Nigeria, the contract is for a multi-well campaign, which will commence in the first half of 2017' | astralvision

02/6/2017 18:02 | How about this one: Bobo Kuti, CEO of Sirius, commented: "We are delighted to have secured this highly competitive, vendor financed rig contract with COSL, one of the world's leading oilfield service companies. This innovative financing solution affirms our belief in the quality of the Ororo field and our confidence in achieving first hydrocarbons in H1 2017. We look forward to working with COSL and our other project partners to commence the development of our interests in Nigeria." | astralvision
02/6/2017 17:53 | Twentysixpointtwo 2 Jun '17 - 14:26 - 65638 of 65647 2 0 "Hydrocarbons in H1" as stated in a previous RNS May I ask which particular RNS? I think such a statement has not been made. | dr rosso

02/6/2017 17:46 | 1bbn+ 2P is why I`m here and why I`m not going anywhere until that gets revealed. Can`t hide it forever. Trading this share is only for those with confidence that no significant news will be released until a certain date. Those ppl can freely sell to their heart`s content, and come back at the lower price as and when. We pi innocents are left in the dark and can only sit tight and wait. Playing field is anything but level. | dr rosso
02/6/2017 16:39 | Exactly deadly....once you study all AIM shares and some of the FTSE especially the banks during the financial crisis there were those that made fortunes from rinse and repeat and leaks. Here as Dr Rosso has always pointed out it appears no different....bigger players exiting around 3p and jumping back in on placings before selling into rises and buying back in on the next placing. You can tell by simply analysing trade data....no average PI is risking £100k+ sums in these stocks it's normally those close to the action. You can spot the orchestrated buys and sells either drip fed so not to cause fear and keep a stable rise or fall or just lumped in with a big £250k trade that is almost always "late reported" hmmm. I note a comment I saw somewhere a while back stating the board mentioned the possibility of this becoming the next Afren....well I bloody hope not judging how that ended up! Anyway....let's see what "late reported" trades pop up this time today or Mon/Tues after the drop this week hmmm | vipste

02/6/2017 14:42 | They deny a sale yet fail to hit all deadlines to oil production at this late stage little or no detail of ad doc funding fourth partner or dates to go on probably why the share price is on the slide again, let's hope a surprise sale is on the cards then again what have they got to sell a percentage of ororo which is still undeveloped. No other assets signed or confirmed either still. | aventador
02/6/2017 14:42 | vipste good point in this day and age i find it unbeleavable that trades are not reported in the correct way, i know you always get some do gooder point out its all about the mid price etc but that is utter tosh a buy is a buy and a sell is a sell and they should all be reported as and when they happen in the correct way. once this all gets sorted win lose or draw then i will never back another aim share as long as i live i hate everything about aim trading | deadly nightshade
02/6/2017 14:32 | Does not mean production 22 | bumhammer
02/6/2017 14:27 | People can look at technicals all they like but no-one can seem to tell 100% confidently what is a buy or a sell everything is all designed to try and hide the truth. Late reported trades, buys as sells and vice versa and MMs dropping the share price way below 1p - are they hoovering up shares this time or is it the consistent seller dropping 5m and several 2m and 1m trades in?? On the face of it and subsequent drop in share price you would assume someone knows something and exiting in chunks. Unless we have a system that legally has to report buys and sells correctly and revealed at the time they were executed then it's all theories, devious game playing by MMs and the greed of those in the know and the herd that ramp the share to 1.4p on no news and mysteriously disappear as major news was supposed to be revealed. This is still a massive gamble until they actually get oil out the ground and get paid for it but in the meantime in the absence of official news if someone can actually interpret the trades and MM behaviour correctly then they have a fair chance of making decent money. | vipste
