I did say 'IF'.

The Board have previously said we're on track for H1. Whether that is still the case as of today, I don't know. I can't see the rig spudding O-2 by the end of June if it's still sat dry-stacked and hasn't yet been mobilised.

But I still stand by the logical statement that 'IF'* were not actually going to become a producer, CPRs on pre-drilled assets are much more valuable to us than drills.

* please note the use of the word 'if' as a disclaimer, in that I don't know whether we will or not. Hope that's clear.

Share price movement is very disappointing. I was a holder of caza and afren, one went private and delisted. The other went bust. I had promised myself never ever again to invest in oily stocks. But here we go.

1alfi... a 0.75p placing would have the unpleasant smell of 'mates rates'....'to existing shareholders'..especially when those issuing the shares are in full knowledge of all the issues.(and they could have got it away at a higher price)

the lack of news flow here is beyound belief. very frustrating i just hope this does not end up another glencore fall through deal. i wish the bod would just come out and lay the cards on the table and let us pi's know what is or is not happening. i sold a chunk of my holding friday and if this lot dont pull their fingers out by the end of the month i will probably sell out my remaining holding. i was lucky that i bought in low and i have always viewed this as a lottery style punt. come on bod get a rns out or just do something

To be honest, with the expected news flow that seems to have got held up, ie, the JOA, Vendor Finance, fourth element, ...'all in due course' (announced on 19/12/ 2016).Then we have the transition from an Investment Company to a Producer, a new AD, the accruals payments, confirmation of the FTSA fulfilment...not to mention the Annual Results out in 17 trading days time...there's too much expected news in too short a time scale to the promised end of H1 drill that's just not materialising....I'd rather they just called it a day and go for suspension.

Judging by volume lack of news and share price the bp rumour not boosting the share price is more nonsense and they may slip the deadline.
Yes we may spud by year end we hope but its still a long road judging by the lack of action up to this late point.
Hope I'm wrong this could be a final dip before the next rally and substantial news end of month but as normal we are all clueless and in the dark as to whats going on.

Yes sadly it is a mere coincidence that two people share exactly the same first & last name in the entire global oil & gas industry that's estimated to employ 30-40m people! Our Peter is in his mid-60's, previously worked at Lasmo & BG and I believe he's British.
